The Wright One is the last book in the duet. I love this duet and everything about the Wrights. I was so excited to get the rest of Sutton and David’s story. This book picks up where the Wright Love ended and left me broken hearted.

This story is so beautifully told and has everything I expect from Ms. Linde. This story is so breathtaking from the first book till the last page. I felt every single emotion that Sutton was going through. I prayed that David would be able to mend her heart and put all the shattered pieces back together.

I felt an instant connection with Sutton. She was easy to relate to and was a character I could see myself befriending. David was pretty perfect until his past came to light. Together they were so adorable. I loved the chemistry that bubbled up between them. I loved watching Sutton and David grow together and overcome the obstacles life threw at them.

I have become a huge fan of Ms. Linde’s work and this duet did not disappoint. It’s a great love story filled with chemistry and just the perfect amount of angst to keep it interesting. I have fallen in love with this family and was so happy to see how Sutton and David’s story ended. I highly recommend this duet to everyone!

About SUNDAYS ARE FOR HANGOVERS

For nearly a year, they’ve been at war. Cops. Forks. Eggs. Two feuding neighbors who couldn’t be more opposite, forced to live next door to one another. Neither is backing down. She drives him crazy with her loud nineties rap music. He gets under her skin the way he obsesses over his stupid lawn. She fantasizes about having sex with the sexy nerd—but with duct tape over his dumb mouth. He has dirty dreams of the bombshell beauty where he bangs the crazy right out of her—nightmares of course. Anger isn’t the only thing heating up between these two. They think this is a battle only one of them can win… The growing attraction between them, though, seems to be far more stubborn than the two of them combined. Read an excerpt from SUNDAYS ARE FOR HANGOVERS

I stewed all day at work over the kiss that almost led to so much more. She’s making me lose my mind. I even made an error on a calculation and damn near accused the head of the mortgage department of fraud. What an ass I felt like when I reran the numbers only to conclude I was, in fact, wrong. I’m never wrong. I yank off my T-shirt and wipe the sweat from my face as I run. My phone is playing some old-school Metallica. The loud, raging guitars not only make me want to pull out my own guitar and start plucking away on some songs, but it also helps pump me up into realizing this morning was a mistake. Lilith is hot, no doubt. But I can’t stand her. How does one want to fuck someone they hate? I’m just rounding the corner to my street when I nearly trip over my own feet and fall. Lilith, in a black bikini top and a pair of cut-off daisy duke shorts, is washing her cherry-red Mustang in her driveway. The sun is going down, but the sunlight seems to seek her out. Golden strands in her hair catch the light and glimmer. I trot to a stop just to stare. Fuck, there goes my resolve. Wet. Bangin’ body. Tits and curves and that ass. I’m hopeless. I catch the old man, Mr. Daniels, across the street swinging in his porch swing, a goofy grin on his gray-whiskered face. It makes me want to build a fence in front of her house so he can’t look at her. Being President of the HOA, I could probably even get away with it… “Yo, Wonka,” she calls out as I near. “You’re looking hot.” I puff out my bare chest and smirk because at least someone notices all the hard work— All thoughts are dashed when cold water blasts me in the face. “Better cool you off!” she yells as she sprays me down. She shoots my glasses right off my face and I end up dropping my shirt. I don’t stop to pick my shit up but instead chase down the blur who is now running from me while trying to soak me at the same time. I hook an arm around her wet waist but end up stumbling over my own feet since I can’t see where the fuck I’m going. We land in her grass with a collective “oomph.” She’s face down and my dick is conveniently pressed against her ass. “You live to antagonize me,” I grumble as I bury my nose in her hair and inhale her. She wiggles and the only thing she’s successful at doing is making me impossibly harder. “You started it.” “And I’ll finish it.” I tug at the string on her neck and then the one at her mid back. With a quick pull, I relieve her of her bikini top. “Oh no, you just didn’t!” she squeals, a loud, adorable laugh escaping from her. It’s then as I rise to my feet with her top in my hand that I realize my crazy neighbor is getting under my skin. She’s burying herself deep inside of me so I can’t think or focus on anything else. And I’m not sure I want to anyway. She stands with her palms covering her perfect tits. Her smile is wicked as she arches a brow at me and backs up toward her house. “It’s on, Wonka. It’s fucking on.” I smirk at her cute, dirty mouth. “Technically it’s off, demon girl.” I sling her top over my shoulder and walk over to collect my glasses and shirt. “Just face it, you’re not winning anything.” I slide on my glasses so I can fully appreciate the swells of her tits barely contained by her tiny hands. Her back hits the front door and she shrugs. “We’ll see.” And then she flips me off before slipping inside her house. But not before me and Mr. Daniels get a nice, quick peek of a perfect tit I’m convinced I won’t see the last of. Game on, Lilith, game on.

Blurb

Sadie Sawyer wants to learn how to blow a guy. She’s my sister’s best friend. The girl I’ve known since grade school. The girl I’ve always considered off-limits.

She’s the girl that crawled under a table in a bar one night and changed everything between us. Now the brain in my pants is more than willing to step up.

The rules are simple.

No kissing.

No screwing.

No falling in love.

But the more I let her use my body in the name of experimentation, the more I know being friends isn’t enough.

Is it too much to want it all with her?

The taste of her lips.

The sweetness of her innocence.

The chance to earn her love.

I might have a real shot with her…if her douchebag ex and my past don’t ruin everything.

Swallow Me Whole is a friends-to-lovers standalone romance. Please note this book was previously published as a serial under the pen name of Angel Allen.

I've always liked this authors dark and twisted book so for her to flip that and do something soft was a risk. It definitely paid off though.
I had a picture in my head of how I thought the story would go from the synopsis but in reality the story was a surprise and a good steamy friends to lovers story.
Ashton and Sadie have always had a soft spot for each other but neither took the leap to become more, that is until Sadie wants help when it comes to sex acts. They make a deal of no kissing and no full sex or intimacy thinking that would be easy to stick to, neither thinking there secret attraction of each other would get in the way. Oh how wrong they was!
I liked Sadie was the girl next door and a bit of a wall flower at times. Relating to her was easy.
Ashton is your typical male character who sleeps around. He feels because of that Sadie wouldnt ever want him and actually thought she was well out of his league so never persuade her. I wanted him to take the leap. He was a decent guy who was just buying time until "the one" came along. He never thought the one was actually Sadie and right in front of him all along
I liked the chemistry between the couple. It built up throughout the story nicely. They had so much passion between them that it burnt my kindle up.
I liked the humour between them and was surprised that the story was actually emotional at times.

Will is my fiancé. The shy man I met years ago in college. The person I’m supposed to spend the rest of my life with.

Etienne says he’s my husband and the year is 1912. He can’t stand the sight of me, but I don’t know why.
Oh, and he’s one of the men from the picture.
I’ve done the impossible and have become trapped in time and I know Etienne is my key to going home.
The more time I spend with Etienne, the further I fall for him, until I’m questioning which time I belong in and if the life I left behind is the one I truly desire.
All I know for certain is I need to survive time.
I need to survive love.
And I need to make it out on the other side alive.

Right then, someone places a hand on my arm. I turn and see Nat. Her eyes are wide with panic. “Étienne is here.” I stare at her blankly, and she frowns. “Did you hear me? I said Étienne’s here. He’s livid.” Judging by Nat’s frantic expression and tone of voice, I know this Étienne is someone important. But I don’t know who the hell he is or why I should be the slightest bit nervous. I’m getting ready to say that when she plants her hands on my shoulders. It’s impossible to tell if the gesture is more for her benefit or mine. “You’re in no shape to see him. I’ll distract him. That should afford you some time to hurry to your room.” Before I can reply or ask who in the hell this Étienne is, the whispers start. Word spreads like wildfire until conversations practically cease. “Go,” Nat pleads. No sooner has the word escaped her mouth before the doors at the far end of the room slam open. People stop what they’re doing. Even the musicians appear unsure and stare at each other in confusion. Nat and Livingston move in front of me like a pair of bodyguards. I stand on my tiptoes and try to peer between their shoulders, but all I can make out is a stark white shirt. I’m confident it’s the Étienne man Nat was talking about. In the hushed silence, I can distinctly hear his powerful steps. People inch toward the walls or the double doors. “What are you still doin’ here? Go!” Nat whispers to me. Why would I go? It’s just getting interesting. A thrill courses down my spine and spreads throughout my body. Minutes ago, I wanted to leave, but the dramatic reaction elicited from everyone and the giant question mark stamped over this mysterious Étienne makes me stay put. Plus, this is a dream. Right now, I’m merely a cat with nine lives. If danger comes my way, I’ll survive. By the ninth, I’ll wake up. For now, I’m safe. The closer he gets, the louder his footsteps become. My heart pounds in sync with his footsteps. When he stops walking, Nat and Livingston’s shoulders are practically fused together. All I can see is the man crossing his tan arms. There’s a beat of silence before Nat speaks. “Étienne. This is a pleasant surprise. I didn’t know you’d be here.” “I live here. This is my home.” His voice is laced with the same slow, Southern drawl as everyone else I’ve heard speak tonight. But I think it’s the deep timbre that makes my pulse jump. Yes, that has to be it. “Who’s behind you?” “No one,” Livingston and Nat say in unison. “Are you sure? Because I swear I see the top of Serene’s head behind your shoulder.” He knows my name. How does he know my name? Once again, I remind myself that anything goes in dreams. But something about this isn’t sitting well in my gut. Livingston and Nat turn at the same time. They wear expressions of pure shock, as if they had no idea I’d been standing behind them. “Oh, it’s Serene.” Livingston shares a well-practiced look of confusion with Nathalie. “I didn’t know she was there. Did you, Nat?” “I did not.” Damn, these two are good. If this were real life, we’d be fast friends. From how they play off of each other’s body language and words, I know they’re siblings; my brothers and I covered for each other the same way. I can’t see the man’s expression, but I’m willing to bet he’s not buying anything they’re saying. “Step aside. I need to talk to her.” No one makes a sound. My legs shake. When Livingston and Nat don’t budge, he says, “Move. Now.” Nat’s shoulders slightly sag in defeat. I’m half-tempted to tell her not to give in to his demands, but my tongue becomes three sizes too big for my mouth. As she steps to the right, she gives me a quick once-over and whispers, “I tried to warn you.” They move away, and it feels as if I’ve been thrown to the wolves. Now I’m facing the leader of the pack. The first thing that comes to my mind once I see him is, Shit. I should’ve listened to Nathalie. Because this isn’t the good ol’ boy every mother wants their daughter to end up with. No. This is the man every mom has warned their daughters about. You run, not walk when you encounter someone like him. I stand there as though I’m nailed to the floor and watch as the man gazes around the room. He sighs as if everyone is wasting his precious time. Then he turns his eyes to me, and when he does, the realization hits me like a bolt of lightning. It’s my mystery man. The man from my dream. The man from the picture. Standing inches away from me.

The Surviving Trace is a great romance story and so much more. Serene is perfectly happy with her life. She owns an antique store with her best friend, Liz. She is engaged to a wonderful man named Will. She has everything she could ever want but one day she runs across a picture from 1912 and it turns her world upside down.

The story sucked me in from page one. It was interesting and different from anything I’ve ever read. I fell in love with Serene both on the present day and in the past. She was easy to connect with and I couldn’t wait to find out the rest of her story. I loved the aspect of the time travel. Ms. Read did in so seamlessly. I had never read a time travel story but this one had me hooked and wanting more of the past.  This is a brilliantly written love story both in the present and past. Ms.
Read has outdone herself with this one.

This story has stuck with me and had me thinking about how one incident can change the whole course of history. I especially loved the mention of other characters and Fairfax ( some of my favorites from this author). The Surviving Trace has earned a top spot in my reads for this year.  This is a must read for everyone!

Leaning over, he kisses the tip of my nose. “Now, food’s on the way. We’ll have a carpet picnic, what do ya say?” “I’ve never had a carpet picnic before.” “Say what?” He looks horrified. “Never?” My shoulders jump up on a little shrug. “It’s all fine dining, posh china, and solid silver cutlery at a table that’s so shiny you can see your face in it.” “Then tonight we fix that.” He pulls me up and walks us through to the lounge. “Get all the cushions on the floor.” He pulls a throw off the back of a chair and wafts it into the air while I pull all the cushions from the couch. I watch as Josh gets on his hands and knees and starts pulling at the corners of the blanket, straightening it out and placing cushions. I have a permanent smile on my face, fascinated by his deep concentration. “You are doing a tremendously good job,” I say, clearing my face of my smile when his motions falter and he looks up at me. One of his eyes narrows, and in a lightning move, he snatches my wrist and yanks me down to the floor. I cry in surprise, being rolled to my back until I’m once again pinned against something by his body. Not that I’m complaining. Would never dream of it. I blow a tickling hair from my nose and grin at him. “You’re making fun of me.” He dips and bites the end of my nose. “Not at all.” I chuckle, squirming beneath him while he makes a meal of my face. “Too good for a carpet picnic, are you? You want a throne?” “Definitely not,” I blurt. “Unless your face will be my throne.” Josh pulls back speedily on a little choke, his eyes bulging. I press my lips together as he stares at me in shock, like how could such a vulgar thing have fallen from the lips of a princess? “I think I just fell in love with you.” It’s my turn to choke. “Blimey, you fall easily, don’t you?” “Actually, I don’t fall at all.” “No?” He shakes his head. “Baby, I’ll be your throne any day of the week.” “Honored.” “It is me who’s honored. It’s not every day a real-life princess tells you she wants to sit on your face.” Laughter erupts from deep within me, my eyes clenching shut, my head thrown back. My position and lack of control gives Josh the perfect opportunity to ravish my throat. And he does, growling dramatically, squirming above me...rubbing me.

I'm a huge fan of Jodi writing and I honestly thought that no book would ever beat This Man, but after reading this I have to say this is now my favourite book by the author. It was so intense from the very start and that intensity grew page after page. She's never wrote a story like this with such intense scenes and characters.
The secrets and intrigue made me fly through the pages. I wanted to no more and more and couldn't get enough. I started reading at night which wasn't my best idea as one minute I'd started the book the next It was 3Am and I'd finished on a huge cliff Hanger that I never knew was coming.
Jodi managed to pack so much in this first book. There was family issues, forbidden romance, heartache, plenty of secrets and lies as well as a intense romance.
I don't want to give any thing away but if you love all of those things as well as a steamy romance then this is the story for you. Josh and Princess Adeline will catch your heart and head. Your be routing for them and hoping they will work through all the drama of there lives to make their relationship work.
I can't wait for the next book. It is now my most anticipated story of the year.

Meet Jodi:
Jodi Ellen Malpas wrote her debut series, The This Man Trilogy, in secret, worried about what people might think if they knew what her imagination was capable of. She was shocked herself. But she finally found the courage to unleash her creative streak and self-published THIS MAN – the first book of the This Man Trilogy – in October 2012. She took a chance on the story with a hero who soon became one of modern day fictions most prolific alpha male characters. Jesse Ward – also affectionately known as The Lord of The Manor, sparked incredible reactions from women across the globe and catapulted Jodi into the world of women’s fiction.
Jodi went on to self-publish the second book in the trilogy, Beneath This Man in Jan 2013, just before Grand Central Publishing, part of the Hachette Book Group, picked up the popular trilogy and the unknown Jodi. The third book of the trilogy, This Man Confessed, took Jodi to the top of the bestsellers lists, earning her the proud title of #1 New York Times Bestselling Author. This Man has since been voted one of the top romance novels of all time.
With so much love, enthusiasm and a thirst for her words from her readers, Jodi suddenly wasn’t afraid of her imagination anymore. She went on to write The One Night Trilogy with the delectable and mysterious Miller Hart, and stole the hearts of her readers once again. Her first stand-alone novel, THE PROTECTOR, released in September 2016 and has since been nominated for a Reviewers’ Choice Best Book Award. Jodi’s next stand-alone novel. THE FORBIDDEN, is set for release in August 2017.

Rebel Heart is book 2 in the Rush series. You need to read Rebel Heir before this book.
Firstly can I just say how hot the cover is. It's a perfect image of Rush.
This series is my absolute favourite by Penelope Ward and VI Keeland. They got everything spot on and wrote a brilliant series together. They didn't disappoint at all.
The story is so frustrating in a good way. It had me gripped and flying through the pages wanting to no more and more.
I loved Gia and Rush together but life wasn't plain sailing for them both because Rush was constantly messing up and putting Gia through so much. She was a incredibly strong character though and could put up with a lot.
The story was very full on and not predictable. It was addictive and very captivating. The emotional roller coaster I went on through the story was intense.
I loved that Rush and Gia both had to fight very hard to be together. It showed how perfect they was together and they really loved each other.
This was the perfect conclusion to the story. I'm sad to say goodbye to them both but I'm excited for whatever these great authors do next.

How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons: Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check. Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check. How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons: Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season. Check. Check. Check. I should add—especially when the guy is your sexy, tattooed God of a boss. Especially when he not only owns your place of employment but inherited half of the town. Especially when he’s mean to you. Or so I thought. Until one night when he demanded I get in his car so he could drive me home because he didn’t want me walking in the dark. That was sort of how it all started with Rush. And then little by little, some of the walls of this hardass man started to come down. I never expected that the two of us, seemingly opposites from the outside, would grow so close. I wasn't supposed to fall for the rebel heir, especially when he made it clear he didn’t want to cross the line with me. As the temperature turned cooler, the nights became hotter. My summer became a lot more interesting—and complicated. All good things must come to an end, right? Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming. One evening after finishing up her work at Cat's apartment building, Lori has an encounter with a sexy stranger, and does something out of character. She goes home with him. The night is perfect, he's perfect, wealthy, powerful and from out of town. Morning comes, and despite their connection, Lori leaves before he finds out she's far from the equal he believes her to be. She's not a charity case and she's not after his money. She will make her own. In other words, she leaves before her prince charming finds out she's no princess.

Flash forward a few months, Lori's mother is healing, and Cat's husband, Reese, has merged his firm with another and Lori lands an internship there, with school credit and scholarship money.. Everything is falling into place. That is until fate reveals a wicked twist of events and Lori walks into a conference room to find her new boss, Cole Brooks, one of the partners, is her one-night prince charming. One sizzling shared look across a boardroom, and it's clear: this man is not done with her. It's not long before Lori is informed that she'll be working high profile cases with her one night prince charming which will require long nights and travel, starting immediately.
I own you.

With those words, my words, my intent in the air, and my fingers still tangled in Lori’s hair, I kiss her, a deep, possessive kiss meant to claim her, take her, make her mine, if only for this night. And she knows it too, because when my lips part hers, she pants out, “No one owns me.”

“Then, sweetheart, you’ve never been properly fucked.” I slide my hands under her jacket, settling my palms on her shoulders.

“I guess that depends on how you define properly.”

I turn her to face in the opposite direction, dragging the jacket down her arms and tangling it around her wrists, and then I lean in close. “As dirty as possible,” I promise. “And with you on my tongue, in as many ways as we both find possible.”

“Is this how you own me?” she demands. “By binding my arms?”

“As much as I’d like to have you at my mercy, sweetheart,” I say, tossing the jacket aside, and turning her to face me, “I’m selfish enough to want your hands and mouth fully available, in any way, shape, or place you so choose to use them.” I walk us backward, toward the oversized chair made perfectly for the kind of hot, wild fuck in our near future, before my hands fall from her waist. “I want to watch you undress.”

“When do you undress?” she challenges.

“We have one condom, sweetheart. Let’s make it last. Undress for me, Lori.”

Her teeth scrape her bottom lip, and for just a moment, her eyes cut, but not before I see the flicker of nerves in her stare. And right then, I know that I’ve read her accurately up to this point. I know that her control is both a necessity and a wall that protects her. I know that no one has made it safe for her to leave those things at the door. No one has ever seen her really truly naked and the only way that happens, is to do exactly what I’m doing. Push her out of her comfort zone, pull her into the moment, where she forgets the walls, and lives nowhere but here in the moment. That’s the place where nothing exists but the two of us.

Her eyes meet mine again, and I see the decision in them. She’s not going to run like she did on the street tonight. She unzips her skirt, and caresses it down her slender, but curvy hips. It pools at her feet, and she kicks it aside, allowing me to admire her long legs in lacy thigh-high hose, my gaze catching on the slender strip of lace in the vee of her body.

Her fingers catch on the hem of her blouse, and she tries to hide the small, inhaled breath of courage she draws before pulling it and her loose bra over her head. She tosses it, and stands before me, creamy pale perfection in nothing but silk and lace, her breasts high, full, nipples puckered to a pretty pink that will soon be in my mouth. “You’re beautiful,” I say. “Come here.”

“Quid pro quo,” she declares. “I’m naked, you’re naked.”

We’re still doing the push and pull, but I don’t mind, not when my mouth is soon to be all over her body, which means her mouth will soon be all over my body. I don’t want her kneeling before me unless it’s to put her mouth on my cock. That’s not my goal, not this time, at least. It’s to own her, and that means she is so damn present, she can’t think, she can only feel. That takes trust and I decide to meet her halfway. I sit down and take off a shoe, showing it to her before setting it down.

“So now I get a socked foot?” she teases, and I can feel a hint of her tension easing away, her comfort in her own skin begins to settle into place. I can feel her easing into me and the night, letting me glimpse the real woman, not the stranger.

And I find that I surprise myself by how much I want to know this woman, not just fuck her.

“The pants don’t come off with the shoes on,” I tell her, and by the time I’ve removed the second shoe, she’s standing in front of me, every creamy white, naked inch of her. She grabs it and tosses it.

“Now the pants,” she orders, making it clear that she’s no submissive, that she can hold her own, and I fucking love it. “Or the shirt.”

I reach for her hips and walk her between my legs. “You’ve distracted me,” I tell her, my lips brushing her belly, my tongue drawing a circle. She trembles beneath my mouth, and I glance up at her. “You’re owned when you can think of nothing but the person you’re with. Nothing but what they might do to you now, and in the next moment.” I twine the string at her hips in my fingers. “Or where they might lick, kiss, or touch.” I drag her panties down her legs and then lower my mouth to her sex, where I let my breath tease her. “Tell me to lick you,” I order.

Her fingers curl around the material over my shoulders. “No.”

I bite my bottom lip and shake my head. “That’s too bad, because I really wanted to know how you taste.” I nip her hip and when she gives a surprised yelp I lave the wound with my tongue, glancing up at her. “Do you want me to—?”

“Yes.”

“Say it, Lori...”

I have to be honest the beginning of this book seemed to drag on and on but I really like the characters so I stayed with it. Glad I did because when it hooked me it hooked me hard!
Accidental run-ins, the first being an actual physical one, kept Lori and Cole on each others mind for months!!! It was fun watching him stress over how different everything is when it comes to her, she was WAY more than a one night stand. Not so fun watching her fight everything he or she was feeling. She was frustrating! But I got it, she was strong and wanted to stand on her own.
I really enjoyed the lawyer part of the story. Seeing them work together to fight for the clients was how they truly bonded. They were as good together in the courtroom as they were in the bedroom.
This the first I have read by this author and I didn't realize this was book 2 in a series but no worries it was a complete standalone. It definitely left me wanting to read book 1 because I liked those characters just as much.

Leaving Everest Synopsis:

Twenty-year-old Emily Winslowe has had an adventurous upbringing. Daughter of a Himalayan mountain guide, she has climbed Mount Everest and other peaks most Americans only dream of. But for all her mountaineering prowess, she's lacking some key experiences. Namely, guys. Especially one guy in particular—Luke, her childhood best friend who she hasn't seen since he left for college in the United States two years ago. Luke unexpectedly reappears as a guide just in time for the Everest climbing season. He's even more handsome than she remembers, and that something that had been building between them during their last season together is back in front of them, bigger than ever. The problem is, there's a detail about Emily's past that Luke doesn't know. It's the reason she ended up in the Himalayas in the first place...and the reason she must make it to the summit of Mount Everest this year. It's also the reason she would never consider following him back to Washington after the climbing season ends. But first, they'll have to survive the mountain.
