BLOG TOUR: KISS Me Tonight by Emma Hart

KMT-BANNER-LIVE

What do a wrong number text, a burning building, and a quirky florist have in common?

A hunky firefighter with an extra-large…hosepipe.

Kiss Me Tonight, an all-new hilarious standalone romance from New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart is available now!

KISSMETONIGHT-1

In hindsight, I never should have opened that text message. The last thing I needed first thing on a Monday was a picture of some stranger’s, um, eggplant, in my inbox.
I also should have replaced the batteries in my fire alarm, because my Friday night did not need to end with my apartment building going up in flames.
But it’s fine. It’s fine. Everything is fine.
I’m only lying in a hospital bed with more split ends than I’ve ever had, almost all my Earthly possessions have turned to ash, and apparently, they don’t serve wine to patients in this place.
But like I said, it’s fine.
Until he walks in.
The guy who saved my life. My hero. Noah Jacobs.
And the universe is amusing itself at my expense, because the dirty photo I woke up to on Monday?
It’s his.

Emma Hart has struck again with another hilarious romance!!
From the start of this book I was laughing out loud!

This is the story of Noah and Reagan who first interaction
is an ‘eggplant’ pic. Instead of ignoring the photo Reagan
and Noah actual start to talk. But when Reagan's friends
point out that she doesn’t even know this man and
he could be a freak or a teenager she starts to overthink
and second guess her conversations with Noah.

Contrary to her friends' thoughts on the man attached
to the eggplant, Noah actually saves Reagan when her
apartment is on fire, and we learn that he is in fact a very
handsome, hunky firefighter who after many alcoholic
beverages sent the eggplant photo.

The laughs kept coming with this quick, snarky read
and I really enjoyed this one!! I can’t wait for more from
these characters!

EXCERPT:

“Hi.” I glanced over at him, my lips curving. “Hi.” “You ready?” “To escape the madhouse? What do you think?” “That I should put my foot down.” I winked and clicked my belt into place. “Let’s go. Where are we going?” Noah pulled away from the curb. “I was going to let you direct me. I haven’t been in town long, like I said, and I definitely haven’t been out for lunch.” I leaned back in the seat. “Hmm. What do you want to eat?” “You’re the one breaking out of jail. I’m happy to go wherever you want to.” “Oh, no. I hate making decisions like this. Do you know how difficult it is to pick somewhere to eat?” I shifted my whole body so I could look at him. “Do you want Chinese? Thai? Steak? Korean? Pizza? Burgers? Caribbean? Mexican? Spanish? French? Italian?” Noah’s gaze darted my way. “Do you have all those places in Creek Falls?” “No, but that doesn’t make the decision any easier,” I replied. “Well? Burgers? Pizza? Mexican? Italian? Steak? Or Chinese?” “I don’t—shit me, I feel like I’m being interrogated by the fucking Government.” “You may as well be. Pick somewhere and I’ll tell you where to go.” “I said you can pick.” “I don’t care. I’ve been everywhere. They’re all good. You’re the new boy in town. Pick somewhere.” “You’re demanding, do you know that?” “Yes, Preston—oh, he’s my brother—regularly points out how demanding and difficult I am.” I paused. “If you really want me to pick, I will, but you can’t complain after.” He turned the blinker on so we’d head in the direction of Main Street. “You just said they’re all good.” “They are, but it’s not my fault if you feel like pizza and end up with a taco.” “I can honestly say that I do not care what I eat for lunch as long as it’s edible.” “Right. Then turn left, then right, and pull into the parking lot next to the liquor store.” “I see you’re taking us to a reputable location.” “Oh, no. The liquor store is a pit stop. It just happens to be on the way to the Mexican place I like.” “I see. So you’re using me for liquor.” “You’ve met my great-aunt. Damn straight I’m using you for liquor.”

REVIEW TOUR: Park Avenue Player by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland

PARK AVENUE PLAYER IS LIVE!
 A Standalone Contemporary Romance
New York Times Bestselling Authors Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland
BLURB

Blurb

It started out like any normal day.

Then the fender bender happened d.

The guy I collided with drove an expensive car and was drop - dead gorgeous. Too bad he was also a total jerk. We argued over whose fault it was and any other thing that came out of his condescending mouth.
Eventually, the police came and we went our separate ways. The insurance companies would have to figure things out. I had a job interview to get to anyway—one I was excited about.

Though that excitement changed to disappointment the moment the person interviewing me walked in. The guy from the accident.

Whoops!

Yeah, so I didn’t get the position.

Th e problem was, I really wanted it. No, I needed it. Anything to get me out of my current career and back into working with kids.

So, even though h Hollis LaCroix was as intimidating as he was devastatingly handsome, I went back to see him and begged for a chance.

To my surprise, he gave me a shot taking care of his troubled niece.

At least my attraction to him wouldn’t be able to go anywhere. I wasn’t about to jeopardize my job or the strong bond Hai ley and I formed.

But resisting the magnetic pull between us wasn’t that simple. (Then there was our little underwear game—don’t ask.)

We continued to flirt without crossing the line—until it finally happened.

This is the part of the story where we fall in love and live happily ever after, right?

Well, life has a way of throwing some major curveballs.

Ours was one I didn't see coming.

Another sweet, fun story with lots of emotion by the dynamic duo.
The story was full of heart and had so much emotion throughout that tore at my heart strings. There was a lot of angst between the couple and they had slot of steamy well written moments.
Hollis is a good character who is very hung up on his ex. He's very serious and uptight. He's very full of himself but a good character that you find yourself getting behind and wanting him to heal. Elodie is the character to help him move forward. She's fun, flirty and slightly crazy in a good way. I
She meets Hollis when she's on her way to a interview where she ends crashing in to his car. She finds herself having to deal with a good-looking jerk whose full of himself so is very happy when they go there separate ways. That is until she arrives at her interview only to be meet up with him again.
Can first impressions ever be changed?
Now Elodie is working as his nieces Nanny he finds himself being pushed towards her and fighting himself with everything inside him to stay away from her but struggles deeply.
There flirting pushes all the boundaries and there sexual attraction is off the scale but he's trying to stay professional and not cross any lines is very hard work for them both.
This book also has slot of emotion in and some of it really tears at the heart strings. It added a good later to the story though.
This was a good read as I expected it would be. It had everything I loved in a story and can't wait to read the next book this duo releases.
