Turning to the door, I smiled, ready to greet my late-evening customer, but faltered as the door closed behind him. Cole Goodman was walking my way. My belly dipped as I took him in. His aviator sunglasses were perched on top of his chocolate-brown hair. A black polo stretched across his broad shoulders and pulled tight across his muscled arms. His pale-blue jeans molded to his Herculean thighs before draping down to his black, square-toed boots. The leather belt on Cole’s trim waist held both a shining badge and a holstered gun. Cole smiled and locked his light-green eyes on mine as he crossed the room. His straight, white teeth made my breath hitch—something that had happened last night more times than I wanted to admit. Molly, who had turned around from her seat to greet our customer, spun around so her back was to Cole. Her cheeks flushed as she whispered, “Wow.” Wow was right. Cole Goodman was—simply put—gorgeous. He could give a woman a speeding ticket and get a thank-you in return. He inspired women to attempt push-ups in a karate class just for the chance to watch him sweat through his gi. Cole made grown women blush like teenagers and giggle in corners, like those girls at the dojo last night.

This book had my name all over it as I can't help but love a fake romance story. They always take you on a good journey from start to finish with many highs and lows. This story fitted in exactly to everything I love about this type of book.
Drew was your typical male character. He was beyond cocky and full of himself. He was your typical alpha "hothead" who loves the ladies and they love him too.
Evie was who caught my heart though. She had been hurt badly by her ex so she was someone not to mess around with and who would speak her mind. I could understand why she was hurting and the way she was in the book. She was sassy and put up with nothing esp when after she met Drew.
Her and Drew definitely have a instant spark and a intensity between them but with Drews reputation and Evies new sassy personality due to being hurt nothing was ever going to happen fast and be real for them.
Drew however got to know Evie and the way he changed with her and how sensitive he was to her needs was nice.
As they had such a natural chemistry nobody would ever think there relationship is anything but real.
The story had its sweet soft moments, but also it's hot, funny times to.
The journey they both went on big and I enjoyed every second of it.

The Getaway Car is a great story. From the first page I was intrigued and could not put this book down. This story is full of mystery, angst, and romance. It’s the story of Maggie and Talon that spans several years and states.

Maggie is on the run and needing to get out of town.  She meets Talon by chance in a local gas station. He helps her out and offers to take her where she’s going. They both have secrets and reasons they are leaving town.  As the story unfolds you learn more and more about both of them and see how their lives are interconnected. Their romance was anything but conventional.

This story had everything. At times it had me laughing and other times I was sobbing. It was a true page turner. I couldn’t get to the end fast enough to see how everything played out. I highly recommend this story if you like a little mystery with your romance.

Release Blitz & Review: Kinda Don't Care by Lani Lynn Vale

Title: Kinda Don't Care
Series: The Simple Man #1
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: April 5, 2018 Cover Designer: Cover Me Darling Photographer: FuriousFotog Cover Model: Joey Berry
She’s in a white dress that dances around her ankles, and her hair tumbles in a long sheet of curls down her back. A veil covers her beautiful eyes, and she smiles directly at him. Janie is everything Rafe’s ever imagined she would be on her wedding day.
Breathtaking. Gorgeous. Perfect.
The moment he sees her walking down the aisle towards him, he knows that she’s the one.
Then she passes him, making her way to the man she’s to marry.
A man that wasn’t him.
A man that he knows with one hundred percent certainty isn’t good enough for her.
It seems that her father isn’t the only one who’s having a hard time giving her away. Rafe only wishes he knew why.
Everything about Janie sparks protective instincts he doesn’t feel for anyone, not even his own fiancé.
What he feels for the bride, however, isn’t merely a simple attraction. He knows that something is there just beneath the surface…if only he could reach it.
It has to be something huge, too, otherwise he wouldn’t be drinking whiskey straight from the flask in a church pew and wondering how many years he would do in prison if he shot the groom in front of about a hundred witnesses—half of those being cops.
He was good…but not that good.
A near-death experience cost Rafe almost six months of his memory, but right now he can’t help but feel like a huge mistake is being made on both of their parts. One that’s going to cost him everything.
Then she says I do.

I am so excited! A new Lani Lynn Vale series! As I read I saw familiar names, old friends! That is actually one of my favorite parts of her books, the connections are fun.
I really liked this one a forbidden romance for a few reasons a BIG age difference, in fact she was a small child when they first met and he already a full grown man (nothing weird) and she was a friend's daughter a big no-no.
The story that unfolded was intriguing after many years they had this instant attraction but he kept his distance, mostly. Then everything went crazy in a good way for a story. I couldn't stop reading I was glued watching it play out and wondering when the craziness would end. And when it did I was smiling I was so happy things were going to work. Then sh!t hit the fan again and I was worried. But in the end my heart was smiling, such a fantastic ending.
Cannot wait for more in this series especially since it is the kids and I get to reconnect with all my old friends.

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.

The End Zone, a sexy friends to lovers romance from L.J. Shen is available NOW!

LJSTheEndZoneBookCover6x9_MEDIUM.jpg
Jolie Louis is a smart girl.
She knows that her best friend, Sage Poirier, is a bad idea.
He’s a walking, talking cliché. The Adonis quarterback with the bulging biceps and harem of fangirls trailing behind him on campus like a stench you can’t get rid of.
Sadly, it is also the very reason she can’t seem to stay away from him.
No, wait. That’s not fair. They’re also roommates, at least until May, when they graduate from college.
Jolie is already straddling the line between friendship and more when Sage comes to her with an offer she cannot refuse: be his fake girlfriend and live for free for the rest of the semester.
She tells herself that she can handle it.
He’s just the boy she saved ten years ago, right?
Wrong. So very wrong.
He is a man now, and she is his captive
Heart, body, and soul…

Excerpt from the Vicious extended epilogue:
Emilia
“Kneel.” There’s menace in this voice, and I grew to love the man who carries it like a loaded weapon. Every word is a sharp edge of a knife, sinking into my skin. Kneel. Sit. Open your mouth. Touch yourself. Repeat after me: Vicious, I’m yours. Most married couples fall into a blissful, albeit drowsy domestic routine of laundry, family dinners, and Netflix. Most married couples are not Vicious and me. We were different from the beginning. A yin and a yang, fighting over which color took more space, black or pink. We started out as enemies, and I think that, although we are still crazy in love, we will always be rivals on some level. We will always be passionate, and angry, and desperate. We will always be us. “I’m sorry, I don’t take orders from people who aren’t my boss,” I say coolly, dropping my funky, colorful bag at the door and erasing the distance between us in wide, confident steps. He is standing in front of me, his Armani suit impeccable, his raven hair slicked back, his icicle blue eyes devouring me in ways that make being eaten alive worth it. He scans the length of me, a slight sneer on his face. I’m still me, even so many years later. The tips of my light brown hair are still cherry-blossom pink. The soles of my shoes are yellow, for Christ’s sake. “That could be arranged, if you continue your sass.” “How is that going to work, Vicious? Are you going to re-employ me against my will?” For the past eighteen years, I’ve been managing my own gallery in L.A. A gallery he bought for me shortly before our engagement. I have a career, an income of my own. Truth is, he gave me a push, but the entire journey to where I am today was made by me, and only me, and he knows it. He cups my cheek, yanks me by the hem of my funky powder blue blouse with little suns into his body and leans down for a kiss. Our lips brush briefly, promising scattered clothes and ragged breaths, just as the door swings open and our son walks in. He slams the door behind him, his eyes still intently glued to his phone. Vaughn is a spitting image of his dad. So much so, that sometimes it scares me. At sixteen, he has the walk, talk, and air of Vicious when the latter was a senior in high school. Rangy, strong body, thick-fringed blue eyes, skin so fair he looks like he defies the sun, and cheekbones you could use as a sharp weapon. More than anything, he has that uniquely-pissed facial expression that tells you that he just doesn’t care. Not about your problems. Not about your feelings. And certainly not about what you think about him.

I read this book last year when it was in the sports romance Anthology. It's since been adjusted, edited  and has had bits added which made the second read of this book better than when I first read it.
There was a outstanding epilogue that had been added and my favourite part a BONUS part added about one of her books I'm a Huge fan of. (I'm not telling you which book though so not to spoil the surprise)
This was a nice novella which I had hoped would change in to a full length novel at some point. It's a nice, sexy sports story which any one who loves sports romance will enjoy.
It was light hearted friends to lovers story. The characters were hot together and had a instant connection. They had a push and pull relationship which I enjoyed but how hot there connection was smoking my kindle up.
This was a nice light read which I'd read again. This author can do no wrong in my opinion.

Release Blitz & Review: Desired by Kelly Elliott

I thought all I wanted in my life was to succeed at football and one day take over my grandfather’s ranch. Nothing else mattered but those two things. Why suddenly did she appear every single night in my dreams? The faceless woman who had me waking up each morning soaked in sweat with my heart nearly pounding right out of my chest. Who was she? Where was she? And why was she the one thing I desired more than anything?               The front door immediately opened, and four girls trickled out. I tried like hell to get a better look at them all.   “Stay here,” Jeff ordered us.   Once the door shut, Josh let out a laugh. “Is it just me, or does Jeff seem like he’s lost his damn mind?”   “Not just you,” Brad stated.   I watched as one of the girls moved closer to Jeff. Her brown hair was piled on top of her head, and her back was toward us.   “I can’t get a good look at her, damn it,” I whispered.   “Me either,” Brad stated.   Josh practically crawled into the front seat. “Do you think that’s the sister?”   “Maybe.”   Another girl walked up and got between Jeff and the girl who might be Ellie. It looked like she had brown hair as well. She looked pretty from what I could tell.   “Shoot me right now. That girl has a fucking hot body,” Josh said.   “You better hope that is a friend of the sister’s and not Ellie herself,” I said with a laugh. “But you’re right. She does have a nice body. So does the one with her back to us.”   I knew that was Ellie. I couldn’t explain how I knew; I simply did. My chest was pounding with the idea of her walking up to the truck and Jeff finally introducing her to us.   “Yeah, so does the blonde,” Brad added. “Can’t really see the other one; Jeff’s blocking her.”   “She has red hair, and trust me, she’s rocking a hot body as well and is pretty as fuck,” Josh stated as he leaned farther up into the front seat. “Why do I feel like I’ve seen her before?”   “Dude, why don’t you just fucking crawl up here already?” I snapped.   “Why didn’t girls look like this when we were in high school?” Brad asked with a sigh.   All three of us laughed as a porch light turned on, lighting it up for us to get a good look at all the girls.   The girl who had her back to us, who I was guessing was Ellie, turned and looked at the truck.   She was beautiful. My heart felt like it dropped to my stomach.   Josh gasped. The fucker actually gasped. “Holy. Shit. No wonder the bastard has been keeping her away from us. She is hot as hell.”   “That she is,” Brad agreed.   My eyes strained to take her all in. I could see her, could tell she was absolutely stunning, but I needed to see her better. Study her face so I could remember it.   Jeff pulled her into his arms and kissed her on the forehead. They took a few steps closer to the truck, and Jeff pointed. He leaned down and said something to her, making her look directly back at the truck again and smile.   My breath caught in my throat. She was stunning. I wondered what she looked like with the sun shining down on that pretty face of hers.   Ellie lifted her hand and waved toward us.   “I’m getting out!” Josh said, trying to scramble into the driver’s seat. I stopped him and pushed his ass back, forcing him to land next to Brad, who was laughing his head off.   I pointed to Josh. “Dude, he told us not to get out. Unless you want to get your ass beat, I suggest you stay in the truck.”   Crossing his arms, Josh looked away.   “Are you pouting?” Brad asked. “You’re freaking pouting. You pansy-ass!”   I couldn’t help but smile before turning back around and looking at Jeff and Ellie. As they moved a bit closer, Jeff stopped and turned to his sister. Her gaze went back to the truck, and it felt like I was having a déjà vu. A chill ran up and down my spine, and I couldn’t shake the feeling I’d seen Ellie somewhere else.
