I knew she’d be pissed, but I also knew I’d never see her again.

Except never came a little early. Namely, the next morning when I went to meet my grandmother and her evil-spinster friend. Because old Eleanor turned out to be young Nora from last night. And if I thought the woman disliked me before, that was nothing compared to how ticked-off she was now. Or how unhappy she was going to be that their party of two was about to become a party of three.

This is probably my favourite book by the author. The book had so many layers to it. It was definitely an unexpected read.
I loved how multi layered it was. The story was very powerful. It shattered my heart and put it all back together again. It was sexy story.
I love this type of genre, opposites attacking, enemies to lovers with lots of laughter and banter.
Was a beautiful story with great heart.

While initially shocked and irritated when Magnus sees Maren in his office, after rescuing her best friend, he has questions he wants answers to. Like why she broke his heart.  But also, he wants a second chance with his first and only love. 

These two haven't been in each other’s lives for years, but the love between them hasn't died. This second chance romance has an engaging storyline that will leave you rooting for love. Toss in some drama (because hello, romantic suspense!) and a little bit of kidnapping (because why not?!) And you have a solid, feel-good AK Evans novel.  

I can't wait for the next book in the series!!

Fantastic ending to a rivoting series!
So many twist and turns. A mind blowing reveal that left me speechless. All I could think was Well Played Aleatha Romig I never saw that coming.
I was guessing for awhile Who was on what side good or bad.
And the last few chapters WOW! 
Was a bit perplexed with the end but reading the author note explained all and I love the author more for the reasoning.
All I cab say is read them but make sure you buckle up because it is a wild ride!
