his was one of my favourite reads of the year ! If not THE BEST! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️from the cover to the very last page I was absorbed ! When I tell you I started at the beginning again when I finished I do not tell you a word of a lie ! ❣️📚

I don’t know how any words I come up is going to do this epic read justice 🤫

Loving the cute cover art ! I love any book that has anything to do bookstores , books or libraries so this was an absolute gift to me 🥰📚

Isa, the local town librarian is desperate to save it and needs a grant and to get she offered up a special collection of books only problem is she doesn’t have the collection as yet and the person it belongs to isn’t answering her emails 🫣desperate times call for desperate measures so Isa takes the bull by the horns and heads to the source himself 🤣thanks to Elisha egging her on !


Adam is known as the town grump and recluse but he’s just the most loveable man there is and he’s just good at keeping people at bay so imagine his surprise when he gets a visitor , an uninvited one at that , and her dog Felipe ( a horse sized dog) that tags along 🥰🐾🤣

Their initial “ meet and greet” didn’t go well it would seem the 4 leggeds had a better start 🤣Ames and Isaac seem to hit off with Felipe almost immediately! Ida and Adam had me in stitches right from the start but she’s heading home but with the weather being what it is he won’t let her and that’s how it all starts ….

I laughed hard , cried hard and had some serious swoon moments ! I mean i literally put my hand over my heart and sighed ! Just read this and you’ll understand…

Elisha is hysterical and a good friend she’s also a fine baker and Isa lives in the small apartment above her cafe ( I don’t think I could , imagine having to live with those decadent smells ? I’d loose my mind🤣)

Bastian is like the brother Adam never had and their paths crossed in a strange way but they’re tight and oh Bastian can cook good food 😉

Mr and Mrs Potter , the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and they’ve so much love for Adam 🥰

Oh to be back in Valentine and it’s people is like a breath of fresh air ! It was good for my soul to catch up with old friends …..

Kingsley comes from a big family and when I say big I kid you not , she’s one of 10 kids ! She has 5 brothers and 4 sisters 😱🥰 yup there’s alot of love in that family and when she’s woken up by her “delinquent “ brother Harrison the fun begins … reality checks out and book bubble checks in 😉🥰📚


Kingsley loves her crystals ✔️, tarot cards ✖️and her journal ✔️ she’s funny , has sass and I love her little pep talk “ I am smart . I am lucky . I am talented .” Let’s not forget her love of coffee@ Grinding Beans , she’s also the local journo and the town paper but she wanted to be a novelist but after her breakup with Hayden she wrote that off ( pardon the pun 🤣🫣) and she’s not shy to let everyone know how she feels about Hayden , it’s as if his name isn’t to be mentioned because if you do you’ll face her wrath …. Oh this is going to be fun because Hayden is heading home !


Hayden’s family owns the local bookstore MAIN STREET BOOKS and they’re about to celebrate their 100th birthday and Kingsley needs to make them shine , make a fuss and celebrate them but her heart is heavy thanks to her history with Hayden but she wants her “ Dear Kingsley “ column so her has to put on her big girl knickers and head on to get her interview… imagine her shock when she gets Mr Shaw Jnr and not his dad


Now the bookstore was started 100 years ago , it’s origins are so romantic and when I read it I just fell in love !

Just reading this again makes me want to read this from the very beginning again ! I know I’ve a problem 🤣🥰📚anc there’s so many soured I want to share ….

The patriarch of the family is in hospital so Hayden came home to help his sister Hayley run the shop and while he’s moved on he’s never really forgotten Kingsley and we all know what small towns are like and they’re all rooting for the 2 to get back together but they’re first going to sit back and enjoy the entertainment and drama unfold and I’m not embarrassed to admit it but I’m so excited to have been part of it 🤣🤣🤣🤣


Kingsley and Hayden navigate their way back to each other and the journey is filled with tears , laughter, drama , heartache and alit of entertainment! They get to write their story and it’s swoon worthy and sugary sweet !

There was so much to love about this story and like I said escape into a bubble I mean there’s a bookstore involved what is not to love!?

A definite re read for me !!!

I just love the Donovan family ! While I enjoyed my visits in Laurel Bay I really enjoyed being with the people of Sweetbriar Ridge and I admit I lost my heart there …..


Levi grew up in Swertbriar but left to be a hotshot advertising guru and rarely came home but life throws him a nasty curveball , an unfair curveball but at the end of the day it was the best thing to ever happen to him because it brought him back to Swertbriar , back home 🥰


Jade is a single mom , her son Silas is a real sweetheart 🥰 she’s trying to get her business Books & Beans on the map ( it’s a little Inidie bookstore and coffe shop📚🫣☕️) and I tell you what I’m grateful she’s nowhere near me because I’d be bankrupt and weigh more than I should 😢🤣🥰anyhoo she’s has a tough time with a battle axe in town but bear with her and be patient it would seem the battle axe does have a heart after all but Victoria Nelson will test your very last tattered nerve 😱🫣

So Levi and Jade meet by accident, literally and you could feel the tension but Levi is in denial and determined he doesn’t want small town living but I nearly snorted my whole cup of breakfast coffee because he’s fooling himself and he’s a Donovan he should know better 🤣the Donovan’s define the beauty of small town living !


I laughed hard ! I cried harder ! I played hard ! I worked hard ! The town may have changed but the quality of good friends , family and people stayed the same and what a joy it’s been to spend time in Books & Beans and watch the town blossom , watch relationships heal and blossom , Painful truth came out , there was healing , forgiveness, redemption and so much more 🥰 these Donovan’s love hard and fierce , they’re good people !

A perfect sweet romance!

These are what Tia Louise do best.

This one had a precious spitfire little redhead that the story and my heart. Little Pinky was too much and the BIGGEST daddy's girl.

Our couple's love started as a fake but that quickly changed and feelings became real. They had a past but not sure I consider this a second chance even thought the past feelings were there.

A person from the past who is very much a part of his current life came back and everything was a mess. I was worried. I wanted them together, Pimky needed them together.

But silly me this author always has a heartwarming HEA.

I'm going to start with the ending. This author loves to write a cliffhanger! I thought I knew how this one was going to end but NOPE! She threw in a twist!!
Now the story.
I an a sucker for a  second chance and loved watching there love rekindle.
But the intrigue of this pharmaceutical world had my attention for sure. And a visit from couple from another book made me smile.
The passion, the feelings between these two was HOT!! and undeniable.
I have been Aleatha'd again and cannot wait for the next book!

Oh my goodness! I was hooked with the prequel but now I am 100% addicted!!

I swear I didn't think I would ever find books like the New Camelot series they were so beautiful yet so dirty. A perfect combination. 

Yet here we are Sierra Simone has done it again. I'm falling for the characters as they fall for each other. The chemistry is through the roof! The heat I thought my Kindle would burst into flames.

The best part there's more!

The worst part I have to wait.
