This book is close to the last of the Whitley Brothers stories!! This book follows Leo and how the relationship with his best friend Tory changes and evolves into something neither of them expected! 

These two had so much to learn when they were younger, so it was for the best that they didn’t get together then. The one thing they both needed to get better at still is communicating!! I swear most love stories would go SO MUCH SMOOTHER if the main characters communicated!! 

Nevertheless this story fully delivered! I don’t think Layla Hagen misses with her books!! Always One-Click approved!!

What is there not to love about Ivy , Killian , his Irish accent or this cover !?

I love the the way the author dealt with the trigger warning and she was true to her word she was honest but handled the topics with care and for that I say thank you 🥰🤗

So Ivy grew up in a privileged home and wanted for nothing but live and acceptance 🥲on her 28th birthday she decided to claim her life back and a taste of freedom …. She walks into Kell’s Irish Pub one person and leaves as another …..

Killian is a delectable speciMAN and I see huw and why he caught Ivy’s eye and from the word to you can feel the chemistry between them 🔥

Killian and Ivy share a very passionate few weeks together and fall in love but Ivy is withholding her true age and her parents don’t know about where she’s been and when the bombshell drops it’s absolutely heartbreaking 💔 Killian drowns his sorrows and ends up in rehab while Ivy escapes to Italy with her mom to heal and I must say her dad is a cruel man and he very nearly lost his daughter on more than one occasion!

Their paths did part for a while so when they meet up again they pick up where left off but they’ve many battles to fight but love always prevails and people get over themselves and realise the value of family and love and being part of their journey was a gift 🥰

I finished reading and then re read it just in case I missed something 🤷‍♀️📚🥰🤣 and guess what it was even better the second time round 😉

This is the first book in the Kings of Campus series by Monica Murphy and my first book by this author. Sports Romance and New Adult romance are my jam, so the blurb totally caught my attention and I would like to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Just a little FYI - if specific genres are your jam this also hits Forced Proximity, Roommates to Lovers, Opposites Attract, and specifically Football Romance.

Everleigh is a transfer student that found herself unexpectedly homeless after her housing fell through at her new university. While trying to rally and find herself a new place to stay, she overhears three guys talking about a room becoming available for rent and she approaches them in order to rent the room. (And this is the only part of the book where I was like....hmmmm, no college student I know would do this because she follows them home to ask about the room with no clue who they are or where they are going.  I work on for a university and this goes against everything these ladies learn and are constantly told!  SAFETY but I digress.)

Little does she know how much her life will change. Due to the agreement she made with the three guys, she quickly integrates into their lives, and she fits in pretty well. The relationship between Ever and Nico develops like a lot of real-life relationships - meaning the swoony romance some people expect in a romance novel seems a little played down. It felt more realistic with the attraction between the characters being the primary focus and Ever not wanting to settle for what all the other girls have had before her.  

I like the roommate dynamic. I enjoyed that this was an engaging, quick read (an afternoon is all you need!) and I will be looking for the next book in the series.  (Gotta see what happens to the roomies!  Especially Frank - I hope he finds everything his heart desires.)

Coerced is the 17th novel in the Harper Ops series by A.K. Evans. This novel is a standalone in the series and while some characters overlap from other books, it is not necessary to read all of the others. (Personally though, I have read all of them in order and it does enhance the story when you know all of the characters and some of the background story.)

Harper Security Ops operates as a self-defense training and tactical training center as well as a security firm with a kidnap and ransom team, which is the unit our MMC works. Paxton, while skilled in his job, is also the neighborhood nice guy and animal rescuer. 

Aria is a new resident in town, who is looking for a chance to start over, where her past can't find her. And luckily for her, she happens to have moved in next door to Pax. Cue the cute pets and voila, we have a story. 

This novel is well written. Sweet and a little spicy with a protective MMC and a courageous FMC. It was a pretty quick read, but it has a nice plot and doesn’t really feel rushed. If you are a genre person this taps the following: Romantic suspense, military romance, neighbors/friends to lovers, forced proximity

Lacey Black does it again! Giving characters that are relatable and writing a story that leaves you wanting more, is her specialty!

I love a good troupe and this one is the single parent troupe and I loved the way Lacey wrote these two characters!! I loved Gavin and Ava and of course I was so happy to be back in the Pone Village world!!
