Dane Rivers is a mystery.  Extremely private even reclusive. However, the man has a way with lyrics and a raspy voice with a twang which elevated him to a country music legend. After 20 years in the biz, he has finally committed to an in-depth interview, though it's definitely  obvious he didn't want to. 

Margot Hallow is a 26 year-old journalist with a knack for people. Her gift for getting people to open up and tell their stories has landed her the interview of her dreams. DANE.  After a rocky and very unproductive start, Margot, much to Danexs chagrin, has temporarily  moved into  the guesthouse to pursue the interview contarcted with her magazine.

To avoid spoilers, just be assured that Margot does eventually gain Dane's respect while learning all about his life. This is a story is more than just a music star romane.  There are touches of grief and anger, heartbreak and love, the importance of family and the fear of the unknown. This story also comes with intriguing characters and an engaging storyline.  

I enjoy novels by Carrie Aarons, but this is the first one I have read which really struck me as a mature contemporary romance.  Sometimes her female leads can be a little immature and I was quite impressed with Margot and her level of maturity.  Well written and easily enjoyed.

I absolutely love this authors books. I binged them all in one go so was very excited to read this book. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Definitely one of my favourites.

This book broke my heart and made me cry. The journey you are taken in is painful and has lots of trauma in it. (Read with caution). Some bits were really hard to read but to get to other side and love you need to take the emotion intense journey.

The characters had layers to them which made them interesting.

Loved this book and this author.

Just loved the cover art and what an apt title ! This book and the people of Landmark are most definitely UNFORGETTABLE ❣️📚

What started as the worst day of her life quickly turned into the hottest night of her life ! Not the usual one night stand kind of girl I can just imagine the shock when she comes face to face with him again….,

So Jamison has extremely fond memories of the holiday resort in Landmark and it’s really the only reason he’s bought it ❣️ not knowing Scarlett and her attachment to it I can just see the confusion on face when he gets an icy reception ❣️📚🙈

Now I loved Jamison from the get go but when Scarlett realises he’s an avid reader I’m ready to to tell her move over he’s mine ‘ ❣️📚🤣

The coldest winter takes you on an intense heart breaking story.

I found Milo and stars beautiful and emotional despite it being forbidden.

The couple dealt with so much as you go through the book. They deal with depression , grief, lose and love. None of these things are hard to read about but the author wrote it perfectly

The story made me hurt as we navigated all those things in the story.

The story was forbidden but not the typical student/teacher I was expecting to read.

This was a beautiful heart breaking and emotional story
