Cruel Fortune is the second book in the Cruel Trilogy. This
book was amazing and had me flipping pages to get to the end. As usual, Ms.
Linde, had filled this book with all of the angst, drama, and twists and turns
that I expect from her stories.
This book is about Natalie. She’s a best selling author and
living out her dreams until her agent says she has to go back to New York City.
This is the one place she never wanted to go to again. Her plan was to go take
care of her book release and then leave as soon as possible. However she
realizes that she needs this city for inspiration for her next book.
I loved this book so much. It had me on the edge of my seat
from the beginning to the end. It was full of so many twists and turns that my
head was spinning wondering how it would end. It is filled with great
characters. Some loves me and some reprehensible but they each added so much to
the story.
If you are looking for something different in a billionaire
story you have to read the Cruel trilogy. I cannot wait to read the last book
to see how this all plays out.
