This is a difficult reviews for me to write because I love the way Amo Jones writes, but this book fell flat for me. Her plots are usually my guilty pleasure, twisted and mind bending, not to mention scorching hot. I struggled with Crowned by Hate and was hoping that Crowned by Fate would be worth my struggle...I tried to like this one, I really did, and I am sad I didn’t like this one. 

As with "Hate", I had a difficult time connecting with Isa and the supporting characters.  Unfortunately, Isa and Bryant's relationship was complicated and confusing - more so that I like in my pleasure reading. I also felt like I needed to take notes to keep the plot straight. I even had to go back and reread a few sections or set the book down for a breather. I almost never do that with Jones novels as they suck me in to the story. 

I will still be devouring every Jones novel I can find, but this one was a little different than I typically enjoy.
