SUMMARY:

I feel in love with
Tijan and writing along time ago. Her books always have kick ass characters and
outstanding story-lines that have you hooked. This story was no different.
I loved the darkness she had throughout the story and how that darkness runs through the characters. Riley was a really strong heroine who never backed down and Kai was just as dark but also broody and delicious.
I loved the darkness she had throughout the story and how that darkness runs through the characters. Riley was a really strong heroine who never backed down and Kai was just as dark but also broody and delicious.
Kai is the head of Bennett family and he knows Riley as his sister's best friend. Riley has no idea that he is a ruthless and very dangerous mafia boss and he has no kidnapped her and she has no idea why.
The connection between Riley and Kai was very intense from the start but I could see them working well together because of how intense there connection was.
The best part of the story was all the secrets you uncover and want answers to throughout the story. Also all the betrayals thrown in to. I was shocked by so many of the revelations made. I never saw what was going to happen and the book was not predictable at all.
I loved this story, especially the anger and tension. I loved it wasn't predictable to and each page left me wanting more.
