This is the second book in the Heartache Duet. We pick up we’re we left off, Ava and Conner are done. She broke it off with him. But he won’t let her go that easily. He knows her reservations and he is willing to do what it takes to get her back.
These two have a lot to work through. Though they both love each other they eAch have other priorities and they need to learn to handle it all. This duet is the perfect blend of love, romance, and angst!! I want more from Ava and Conner!!
My only strap back to this book isn’t even really a draw back. I just wanted more in the ending. A second epilogue would have made this book so perfect. I like to see what happens many years in the future and I felt the epilogue wasn’t enough, though it was super satisfying!!
I was blown away are Jay McLeans ability to reel me in to every book and make me fall so dang in love with the words she writes!! I love this book and this duet. So much!! I would 1000% recommend this duet to readers!!
