So I read books one in this stand alone series and I really enjoyed it. But I have read a student teacher book that I really liked so I was nervous going into this one. 

While I loved Leo as the hero of this book for some reason it was a little harder for me to connect with Kora. I really did grow to love these two together tho and I was great to catch up with Finn and Slater! 

I was so happy Lep got the ending he deserved and I’m hopping to get more of him in the next books. 

I will say I was disappointed that Knox and Shawn didn’t show up like at all in this book. I know that they have graduated but still they are friends with Leo, Finn and Slater. I hope that all they along with Leo and Kora make appearances in the future book.
