Hard pass is the first book in the new Trophy boyfriends series by Sara Ney. 

I've always loved Sara Ney books so was excited to read this new book. I love a sports romance and what I loved most about this book is that is was a different kind of sports romance to what I'm used to. 

Noah was the perfect character. He was very intriguing and grumpy. He's a professional baseball player but since the spot light went on him he's been continuously told he's not good looking enough. This seriously upsets him and makes him think no one will ever love him. 

Then he meets Miranda and the chemistry between them and very strong but not instant love. This builds over time. There's a good amount of banter/texting between them which is funny and kept me interested. 

This was a cute fun story that I enjoyed in one sitting.
