Another Carrie Aarons novel means more amazing characters, interesting storyline, and great writing. Sports romance. Enemies to lovers. Boss romance. You get it all in Warning Track.  

The Callahan name is currently mud in the professional baseball world after Jimmy Callahan, GM of the Packton Pistons was found guilty on felony charges of conspiracy and bribery among others.  Colleen Callahan has taken over the position from her father and is desperately trying to bring honor back to the family name. 

Hayes is one of the victims of Jimmy's deception and manipulation. After his trade, the first baseman isn't happy to be working for the Callahan family.  Hayes doesn't want to be here, but baseball is his life, so he will do what he needs to do. 

Even with the bad blood between Colleen and Hayes, there is also a spark.  The push and pull of the tension and attraction adds a nice layer to the story. 

Carrie Aarons always does a fantastic job with her sports romances. The sports knowledge is there, as is the enthusiasm for the sport. You can feel the love - in more ways than one. The depth of the characters (including the supporting characters) and the twists and turns make this a great read.  

Book 1 in The Callahan Series is well worth the read and I can't wait to read book 2.
