This book was so intense and had my attention from the first page. I loved everything about the book from the cover to the ending. It has is a modern day Hatfield and McCoy vibe between the Crowe’s and Bennett’s. Both of these families seem to be cursed: the Crowe’s who went missing and the Bennett’s when it comes to love.
This story was so intriguing. I loved Drew and Kenny. I love the mystery and unknown that surrounds the lake and how it came to be and what lies beneath. From the moment they met Kenny and Drew spend as much time together as they can. It’s like some force is pulling them together. Their romance was a slow burn but once they kissed it was life altering. She knew she couldn’t stay and he can’t leave , so where will fate leave them?
I enjoyed this story and the ending was everything I’d hoped it would be. I highly recommend this one! I can’t wait to see what’s next from Ms. Harper.
