This was EVERYTHING!!
I loved seeing Declan and Grant work their way through the ups and downs of their relationship. We saw their hard times, their good times and Oh goodness their over the top emotional times ie...proposal & wedding.
This was a fantastic trilogy and you must read each book in order to experience the fantastic romantic journey of these Hot as Hell baseball player.
Lauren Blakely hit this one out of the park.

Meagan Brandy has done it again.

This is probably the best baseball story I have read in a very long time. It was told in duel POV and was a slow burn romance that made my kindle sizzle. Their relationship had so much angst throughout but there was also a lot of secrets between them and heartbreak too.

There was so many layers to the story so I was kept on my toes throughout. I wasn't expecting what happened at the end when the truth came out.

Tobias character shocked me with how he changed throughout the book. He started as someone who was arrogant, self centred,cocky and rude but by the end of the book he wasn't like that at all and I feel in love with him.

This story broke my heart and then put it back together again. 

I loved this emotional rollercoaster.

This was a very sweet and charming easy read. It wasn't heavy or dealing with heavy ideas but it was a nice book which left me smiling and feeling refreshed. As it is a YA story though I was expecting it to be like that.

The story was quite a quick read for me which was exactly what I was liking for from it.

The plot wasn't something id not read before but I didn't care about that to be honest. I enjoyed the characters and their development which is what mattered more to me.

If you want a quick good natured teen romance story then this is what you need.

EXCERPT

“Who. Are. You?”

The words fly out of my mouth even before the front door falls shut behind me. There’s a stranger in my house—built like a demi-god, demonic dark hair, and with eyes like an angel. He comes out of the bathroom as if he’d just taken a break after parking himself in my home for a cozy film marathon. Hello?

The intruder with the white t-shirt wipes his still damp hands on the back of his washed-out jeans, not even half as confused as I am, obviously. “My name’s Thane,” he says. Then he smiles, and the sun is rising a second time today at half past six in the evening. What the hell?

He cocks his head. “And yours?”

My backpack slides from my right shoulder, pulling one side of my unzipped dark blue hoodie with it, and hits the tiled hallway floor with a thud so loud the neighbors could hear. That’s from the five new books I just borrowed from the library. All hardcovers. “Huh?”

Dimples and an amused look make the young man’s eyes scrunch a little tighter. “Your name?”

Jeez, burglars don’t usually smirk and engage you in conversations, do they? Then again, we’ve never been robbed before, so what do I know?

With a jerk of my shoulder, I push my hoodie back in place and then grab my brother’s old hockey stick from behind the chest in the foyer. We’ve been keeping it there since the day I watched my first murder mystery as a kid, and today I swing it for the first time.

“I’m Sandra Michelle Cardington. Cardington as in the name written on the mailbox outside this house. My house.” Need I say, “I live here!” My fingers clenching around the wood, I move one step closer to the housebreaker. “You don’t.”

“Whoa.” His chuckle runs wild into nice boyish laughter, and he lifts his hands in surrender.

Not gonna help, cutie. I’ll knock your lights out.

As I scowl like a wild dog, he keeps his body rigid, but his star-blue eyes move to the right as he shouts over his shoulder, “You didn’t say you’re living with Harley Quinn, Cam.”

The next instant, he moves forward so swiftly I totally miss the moment. With just one hand, he brings my arms down then casts a friendly look straight into my eyes. “Let me show you how this works. This isn’t a baseball bat, you know. You use it a little closer to the ground.”

It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for this one. Matteo and Caitlin’s story was definitely worth the wait. 

Matteo was everything I look for in a hero and he is willing to go to any length to protect those he loves. Caitlin’s journey was sad and painful. Matteo was there for her and was willing to do whatever was needed to make sure she felt safe and protected. They were a perfect match and helped heal each other’s past pain. I loved watching this one unfold.

“M-Matteo?” Her eyes flickered open. “What time is it?”

“Late. Everyone already went to bed.”

“They did?”

I nodded, offering her my hand. “Let’s get you into bed.”

Without argument, Caitlin took my hand and I led her down the hall to her room.

“Where will you sleep?” she asked around a yawn.

I pulled back the covers and flicked my head for her to get in the bed. Pulling off her hoodie, Caitlin slipped into the sheets and nestled down.

“I’ll see you tomorrow,” I said.

“Stay.”

The word echoed through my skull. My eyes found hers in the dark, and she smiled. “Matteo, will you please stay with me?”

OMG this book IS the shizzle!!!  Aaahhh! I couldn’t put it down and didn’t want it to end. This series was so creative, dark, hopeful, and had you rooting for the underdog. I don’t want to give anything away but you definitely need to read these books in order!!  Sooooo UHMAZING!!

Ford meets Shayne when he visits his best friend, Chad’s, home town. Shayne is Chad’s cousin. There was an instant connection between these two and I loved the genuineness! 

I loved the secondary characters in this book as well and I really hope we get Chad’s book next!! I always love the books Kaylee and Lacey write together!!

I’m a big fan of this author's work but I'm not a fan of paranormal books so reading this book was a huge risk for me. I have to say though that I was presently surprised and did enjoy this story. It was definitely unlike anything I have read before that's for sure.

The story intertwined between the paranormal world and the real world seamlessly.

The author brought a heart breaking touch to the story that I wasn't expecting. It was beauitful, touching and full of romance and it definitely won my heart over.

I can't say to much about this story as don't want to give anything away but all il say is that I'm glad I read the book and everyone should give the book a try whether they like paranormal books or not.
