At First Hate is a stand alone, second chance, enemies to lovers romance. That was all I needed to know to grab this one. This is one of my favorite genres. I love the angst and the push/pull of an enemies to lovers romance and Ms. Linde didn’t disappoint with this one.
This story has elements from the characters past. With glimpses into their high school, college and grad school years. Then we reunite with them some years later as they struggle with life’s normalcies. I loved watching the characters grow and their romance unfold and rekindle. I loved that this story showed all of their past and present relationship drama.

K.A. Linde is the USA Today bestselling author of the Avoiding Series, Wrights, and more than thirty other novels.
She has a Masters degree in political science from the University of Georgia, was the head campaign worker for the 2012 presidential campaign at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and served as the head coach of the Duke University dance team.
She loves reading fantasy novels, binge-watching Supernatural, traveling, and dancing in her spare time.
She currently lives in Lubbock, Texas, with her husband and two super-adorable puppies.
