Rating: 4 stars! 

I love mafia romance books, like truly love them! I tore into this book so quick! This was different than other mafia books I’ve read. The heroine of this story is a trauma survivor, this makes the storyline even better. 

When it came out that this was the darkest book Tijan had written, I was so pumped for her!! I love when authors step outside their comfort zones. And this book was amazing! I loved the main characters and the secondary ones so much!
