I took a step back and raced forward, shoving my shoulder against the bedroom door. The wood easily splintered from the hinges as the lock gave way. The door swung open.
On the other side was Catherine, backed into a corner, holding a small nightstand lamp aloft as a makeshift weapon. Her beautiful hair was down and lying in waves over her shoulders; with her glasses placed neatly on the nightstand, I had an unobstructed view of the alarm in her gorgeous emerald eyes.
“Stay back!”
I lifted my arm and let one side of the handcuffs tumble out. “Now why would I do that.”
Her beautiful eyes widened.
This was going to be fun.
Catherine chucked the lamp at my head and tried to run past me. I deflected the lamp with my right forearm, and snatched her around the waist with my left. “Not so fast, little one.”
I grabbed her by the chin. “Miss me?”

Catherine wakes , chained to her bed , desperate to escape , she’s in her room , notices her nightgown is missing and her body aches …
She loves all things vintage and gothic and that’s why she rented the flat that she did with its thick walls and latticed windows , she’s hoping to escape ….
I don’t think she knew what she was in for when the university sent her to Dr Jekyll as a lab assistant 😱
Dr Jekyll was working on a formula for the government, a secret weapon of sorts , one that would inhibit a soldier’s natural response to violence , he needed a human specimen and who better to use than yourself !?
The results of self testing creates another side , a dark , depraved and lustful side so beware Catherine , it seems it’s addictive!!
