There is something about a love story thats decades in the making! I LOVE childhood friends to lovers stories and this one by Lacey was PHENOMENAL!!! Joy loves her job; she owns her own bakery in her hometown, Snowflake Falls. The holidays make things a little crazy but she loves all the Christmas cheer. She was not expecting a blast from her past, but that's what she gets when Burke waltz's into her shop. Burke left town right before he and Joy started high school, his family moved. Now he is back to help his gramps with the family Christmas Tree Farm. He had to stop by and see his childhood best friend and catch up. Neither of them were expecting the friendship and love they had as young children and teens to have turned into sparks but sparks flying is exactly what happens when they come face to face after all these years!

I seriously LOVED this addition to the Snowflake Falls series! These two characters were the perfect match and I cant wait to see where they are, when we read about them in the next book (fingers crossed)!

Cambria Hebert is one of my one-click authors. I love everything she writes, but her M/M books always end up holding a special place on my shelves. MistleFoe is not only worth the one-click, but it totally  shows why she is one of my go-to authors. 

 

I borrowed a bit from her author's note to share how I feel about this book using her own goals:

1. Give it a plot but make it fluffy and feel-good.  (She 100% succeeded! Hot chocolate, cold hands, and powder-sugary sweet.)

2. Making it romantic but not cheesy. (As someone who watches Hallmark movies and comments about how they can be cheesy and clichéd- Hebert managed to pull this one off! Even with a small town Christmas tree farmer as one of the main characters!) 

3. Moving the story along simply but in an entertaining way. (I was looking up gingerbread recipes by the end of the book, so, not only successful, but inspirational. And a dog is always a win! Lol)

This was a sweet Christmas story and a fairly quick read.  If you like the small-town sweet romances, queer awakening romances, or even just enemies to lovers banter, Toby and Archer will give you what you are looking for.  5 star read for me.

I’ve really feel in love with Mountain Men series and SJ Tilly’s writing. 

This book has me laughing throughout it. It’s was full on addictive story that was fun and very flirty. I loved the flaming connection towards both the characters and I loved it was such an easy read and was spicy hot to. 

The story did have alot of great twists and even though I found it an easy read I still felt like I was on a slight rollercoaster throughout the story .

Great book.

We all have that go to movie well mine is “You’ve got mail” and this read was the bakery version of it therefore it’s now a firm favourite read 📚❣️


Cam runs a little cafe with the most delectable treats and now her little spot of heaven is under threat when a large company wants to open shop across the road from her so it’s to be expected that Fletcher is enemy number 1 but he’s so easy on the eye and he stirs things within her that she’s not wanting but wanting at the same time 🥰😂

Fletcher has lived a wild life but he’s come to his senses and wants to grow up in a sense so the place opening up has become his baby and he’s determined to prove himself but he didn’t bank on the little firecracker Cam is ….


Fletcher and Cam decide on a truce of sorts with an upcoming competition and they end up having to be partners when Cams assistant has a family emergency and it’s here where they work as a team and I couldn’t help myself but fall for Fletcher I mean hello he went in search of her sentimental salt shaker ! He’s a real softy and he went to great lengths in the end to win her over and my heart just melted 🥰

It was so much fun to catch up with old friends from the building , they’re more family that friends and we’re still trying to solve the mystery of who is leaving flowers in the bench ( will we ever find out ) little Ava is still a cutie and has her endearing ways and Liquorice the cat is still a source of entertainment 😉

This really is a feel good read where you can just get lost in a happy bubble and enjoy the delectable creations from the bakery -and laugh at the antics these people get up to 🫶🏼

This was a fun story! 

I am so happy to see a happy story for Liliana. I felt so sad for her in the other books. She was a horrible arranged marriage. 

Now she's a young window and finds a man she deserves.

Something I loved in the book was catching up with old friends meaning characters from other books in the series.

Loving this series and oping for more.

Every silent Lie is a very beautiful but heartbreaking story. 
I felt wrecked and torn apart throughout most the story. I had tears falling out my eyes and I couldn’t put the book down and then I’d be laughing and being uplifted again.. The angst was full loaded which I absolutely loved. 
The characters are well written and it was very easy to find a connection towards them and want the best for them. 
I love the authors writing and she always creates so many brilliant stories that a fully loaded rollercoaster, this book was no exception

Great story! I read it from the edge of my seat.

Everytime I thought I was on the right track a twist was thrown and was back to square one.

At one point I wasn't sure I knew who the good guys were.

The love story was quick to start but played out a little slower making me believe it was more that installments.

Another great book by this author. 

If you haven't been Aleatha'd your not reading the right books.
