We all have that go to movie well mine is “You’ve got mail” and this read was the bakery version of it therefore it’s now a firm favourite read 📚❣️
Cam runs a little cafe with the most delectable treats and now her little spot of heaven is under threat when a large company wants to open shop across the road from her so it’s to be expected that Fletcher is enemy number 1 but he’s so easy on the eye and he stirs things within her that she’s not wanting but wanting at the same time 🥰😂
Fletcher has lived a wild life but he’s come to his senses and wants to grow up in a sense so the place opening up has become his baby and he’s determined to prove himself but he didn’t bank on the little firecracker Cam is ….
Fletcher and Cam decide on a truce of sorts with an upcoming competition and they end up having to be partners when Cams assistant has a family emergency and it’s here where they work as a team and I couldn’t help myself but fall for Fletcher I mean hello he went in search of her sentimental salt shaker ! He’s a real softy and he went to great lengths in the end to win her over and my heart just melted 🥰
It was so much fun to catch up with old friends from the building , they’re more family that friends and we’re still trying to solve the mystery of who is leaving flowers in the bench ( will we ever find out ) little Ava is still a cutie and has her endearing ways and Liquorice the cat is still a source of entertainment 😉
This really is a feel good read where you can just get lost in a happy bubble and enjoy the delectable creations from the bakery -and laugh at the antics these people get up to 🫶🏼
