Right off the bat this book made me smile. I am a huge country music fan and the main characters are Johnny and June, that warmed my heart.
From their first meet I knew they were going to be a fun couple! Learning her past and how she was treated by the people in town made me sad and at times MAD! Judgemental jerks!!!
He had his work cut out for him this girl and that made for a very enjoyable story, watching them connect, watching them overcome bumps in the road to love. Then we are hit with a doozy of a reveal from a vicious ex! I was a little stunned and quite sceptical.
Twist after turn had me glued to my kindle as the story unfolded and the action got intense. I devoured it up all the way to full circle because just like in the beginning I was smiling at the end.
Every Lani Lynn Vale book gives me a love story with a bit of unexpected circumstances, usually has me laughing at wacky situations of fun loving characters and almost always gives me a storyline that will tug at my heartstrings.
