I love this series of books and all the characters that we have been introduced too and I was so excited to get Tess’ story!! I was also happy that Beau was finally home and getting his happy ending!

That happy ending was hard won for these two. I loved the spark between these two and how they were able to work through their issues. I was irritated that Tess was so stubborn to talk to Beau about their past. 

Beau was a great hero, he was aware of his flaws for the most part and he was not afraid to show Tess his feelings!! I wanted more the ending though. I always want to see more into the future. But I’m hopeful that with more books from this series I’ll get to see these two in the future and see how they are doing!! 

I also loved that we got to catch up with the rest of the crew from the previous books!! I was a great and quick read and I would 100% recommend this series and author!!

We all love a good second chance love story. You know the high school love that got away. A rekindled romance, an unrequited love revealed years later those are the things that make a fantastic second chance and this book had all of those and MORE!
Mati is not only looking at possibly rekindling a lost love she is looking at a new beginning to a love and life she missed. BUT the guilt she LOVED her husband and their life and wouldn't change it for the world. It's hard to accept a new life chapter when it is so connected to the last chapter, the memories are strong. Her inner turmoil made me love her and want to give her a reassuring hug. I just wanted to push her and tell her to jump. But her feelings were so real and understandable. 
Denton was a confusing man to her and I honestly think it was his years of internal conflict. She was his best friend, his best friend's girl, then his best friend's wife and now his widow She was the one that got away no wait he went away and he let her go. BUT he loved her first.
And now it's time for their Second Chance!
All of the outside elements of this story sucked me in, a small town with small town gossip, her protective brothers, her loving sons, Denton the prodigal son returning and all of the mysterious secrets that were revealed. And sweetest heartwarming epilogue I was in tears. I LOVED ALL OF IT! EVERY WORD!
LB Dunbar kills it with these romance over 40 stories! I connect with these characters. I want more! Sexy Silver Foxes, Real people with real lives and real insecurities.

Second Chance is a standalone, over forty romance. LB had definitely found her niche, she has become the queen of over 40 romances. This story has surpassed everything I expected. 

I loved Mati and Denton. Their love story was a classic. They had been friends since they were kids. Actually the three of them, Mati, Denton, & Chris were best friends and inseparable. Chris and Mati ended up dating which pretty much ended their threesome friendship. Now Mati is widowed at forty-four and Chris left a letter asking her to call Denton. She was sure she was ready for that. Denton ends up back in town after over twenty years of being away. They run into each other and the chemistry is automatic. This story kept me on my toes with weather they would end up together or not. They definitely had chemistry but there was also a lot of push and pull between them. 

This story is everything I look for in a second chance romance and so much more. This is s favorite genre of mine and this book was perfection. It had all the feels, angst, drama, romance, and characters that I could relate to. These characters and the things they go through are so real and refreshing. I cannot wait to meet my next over forty silver fox.

First let me say that I've read every one of Aurora's Until series and hadn't actually read this series yet. I was a little nervous starting this series at book 4, but I can honestly say that I loved this story. 
Courtney has been dealt a pretty craptastic hand by her stupid ex and she's moving on, starting over. When she buys her new place she meets Lucas when she comes to look at the plans for the renovations for her place. 
Aurora is definitely the queen of insta love, but that's why I love her books. Lucas is definitely bossy, hot and very alpha. He's also the father of the adorable Maddison. They both fall for Courtney immediately. This book has a lot of sweet moments, ex-drama moments, and hot sexy times. 
I loved this book and will be going back and reading the others.

That Epilogue had me crying like a baby!

When I first met Laney and Lily  there was a whirlwind of emotions going through me from despair and sadness to frustration and rage !!! 
Then Riser steps in and my knees turn to  jelly !!!!

Riser may be a tough soldier but he has a heart of gold that's full of compassion and when he realizes the reason behind Laney's "receipt he doesn't hesitate to protect her ...  man he's all alpha male this one 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

People who abuse their power make me sick to the pit of my stomach but justice will prevail and Mark (Laney's husband) will and does pay the price for all he put Laney and Lily through .

There were a few nail biting moments but Riser protects what is his and despite her fear Laney is brave and did what was needed when the time came to protect her little girl and for that you're a super hero mommy , I salute you 🤗

I started this book feeling very disgruntled but when I finished it ,my heart was happy and I felt like doing a re re-read 📚💕
