RATING: 4.5 stars
Hayley Faiman never fails to write an a$$hole hero that you can't help but fall in love with. But Keys/Ace really tested my patience. He had a sweet side it slipped out every once in a while but that a$$hole side covered it up and kept it hidden. I wanted to throat punch him more than once!
Carson WOW! She is one hell of a girl. The responsibility she took on at a young age without thinking about it, never looking back and never regretting it. I had a tremendous amount of respect for her but it left her in a bit of a stuck situation. At times I wanted her to walk away from it all but she couldn't and deep down I knew she couldn't. For so many reasons she couldn't, wouldn't leave the biggest being the love she had for her boys.
That love made this a story I couldn't put down. They had a weird past to get over and she had a lot to work through but I was rooting for them even with his awful ways. I could see they belonged together and when he finally got his head out of his a$$ I smiled. My heart soared because there he was the man I knew he could be.
A great series with characters I am loving. I can't wait for the next one!

Have you ever read a synopsis and just HAD TO HAVE the
book? Have you ever done it with book 4
in a series when you haven’t read the first three? What do you do?!? Well, let me tell you…you go and buy the
first 3 books in the series so you can satisfy the urge! (I mean, reading is
never bad…right?) I am so happy I followed my gut because the Notorious Devils
in the Cash Bar series are a fantastic mixture of Alpha MC badass with just the
right amount of an affectionate side.
In Cash Bar Book 4, Blended with Pain we meet up with Keys
and Carson. Carson became a mom when her
sister died, leaving her infant son behind.
Carson thinks about Ace all the time. She tried once to tell him about
his son Axe, but the phone call didn’t pan out the way she hoped and she had
given up on telling him the news. Living her life to support and care for Axe
in a small Texas town, she’s surprised one day to see Ace at her table. Not
knowing what to do she invites him over, unbeknownst to him to meet his son. Keys is irritated
about being stuck in the small, dusty Texas town until his past walks up to his
table. Finding out he has a son wasn’t
on his agenda but keeping him is. When he is called home from his mission,
Keys/Ace decides he is taking his ready-made family with him when he leaves.
Notorious Devils don't have it easy and the danger follows them home, causing
disruption to the budding relationship.
As with the other Cash Bar novels I wasn’t able to put this
one down. I snuck pages at work, I read
at stop lights (I know, don’t yell at me) and I finished at 2 in the
morning. I couldn't wait to see what
happened and I definitely wasn’t disappointed.
I’m am super happy that I found this book and began my journey into
Haley Faiman’s MC novels. I will be sure
to pick up her other series as well and I definitely recommend the Cash Bar
series. And if you ever are drawn to a book don’t let the number in the series inhibit
you.

I was born and raised in a small farming town in California. I met my husband when I was 16 and he was 19. We married four years later and have two little boys! We lived in Oregon for a few years while he served in the US Coast Guard.
Texas is now where we call home, where our boots rest, and where we’re raising our two little boys and a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
