EAT. SLEEP. FOOTBALL.
Those are Jackson Jennings, Jr’s three mantras. His entire life, he’s been a trained athlete with only one end-game: the Pro’s. No girls. No parties. No alcohol.
EAT. SLEEP. FOOTBALL.
Repeat.
Every Friday night, Triple J cruises the strip on campus, bored, lonely and conditioned not to party. But the night he meets Charlotte Edmonds on the side of the road, he wonders if his three mantras will ever be enough.
BIG. DUMB. JOCK.
Charlie has no time for Jackson’s antics. Not when he’s stealing her food or teases her to no end, making her tingle in all the right places. But if she’s ever going to have a boyfriend, she’d choose one who isn’t a Neanderthal. One with manners and actual time to spend with her. Not a hulking man-child who cruises the strip at night, in his Big. Dumb. Truck.

This is book 3 in the Jock Hard series. Each
book focuses on a different character so you don't need to read the books in
order.
I've read the previous books however and each book is as good as the last so I was very excited to start reading Triple J/ Jackson and Charlie's story.
There story was everything I wanted and more. Triple J wasn't your typical Jock and I liked that twist in things. Charlie was also not your typical heroine either. A lot of there faults are mirrored in each other, not that they'd admit that though.
Charlie has a big chip on her shoulder. She's very defensive and tried very hard to guard her heart from Triple J and from those around her. I like that she doesn't play by the rules and goes all out that when she needs to.
triple I and Charlie's chemistry is smoking hot. They have great banter between them which was funny and lightened the book up.
Since there similar it took them both a while to work out how to break each others walls down and to build trust up between each other.
I think Triple J is one of my all time fav male characters I've read by this author.
This was a well written, full of humour and chemistry story that didn't bore me even once.
