I didn’t believe that Macalister Hale was redeemable, but Nikki Sloane has proved me wrong! I went into this book not knowing what to expect from Macalister.

When Macalister meets Sophia Alby he is shocked to his core. She believes that a partnership can restore Macalister’s damaged reputation. 

When Macalister realizes he is starting to have feelings for Sophia, he try’s to stop them. She is half his age and his past has damned him. 

I really didn’t want to love this story and Macalister as much as I did. But dang did I fall for him! I loved his journey to redemption and Sophia! I really loved her and her attitude and the way she handled Macalister. 

It was great to see the rest of the Hales to and catch up with Royce and Marist! I can’t wait for Vance’s story!!
