Slay is book one in the Georgia Smoke duet. Rumor finds sanctuary at King’s family’s ranch. She’s on the run from what she thought would be her fairytale life. 

This is a spinoff of the Smokeshow series. I loved everything about this book. Rumor was distrusting of men and rightfully so after what she’s been through. King is determined to only be her friend but show her how she should be treated. 

This book was a quick read for me. I devoured it in one night. I couldn’t get enough of it. It has twists and turns to keep you guessing how it will all turn out. I cannot wait for the next book.
