I have been not so patiently waiting for Billy's book. It was well worth the wait. I am never disappointed with an LB Dunbar book. I know I am going to get a good story and with this one it was like going home and visiting old friends. I have met most of the characters in their books but I finally got the one I was most curious about.
Billy and Roxanne have had a "hate" for each other in a few other books. Their story frustrated me in the best way. I wanted to knock their heads together and make them say what they are thinking. Truths were revealed that shocked me and softened my heart towards our Silver Player.
Then we have an amazing 16 year old girl who turns everyone life topsy turvy. I loved it!
This author is the queen of over 40 romance and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Silver Player is Billy and Roxanne’s story. Billy is of course know for being the town player. Roxanne and Billy have a lot of hate for each other in their past but she seems to be the one person who can help him with his current situation. Their story was full of very emotion and they made me really feel them. They both took time to see what was clearly there all along. Add in the 16 year old girl and everything seems to go upside down but yet somehow fits together. You know they say it’s a fine line between love and hate; I think Roxanne and Billy just prove that point. I cannot wait to see what is next from Ms. Dunbar.
