About Everything Under the Sun:
Thais Fenwick was eleven-years-old when civilization fell, devastated by a virus that killed off the majority of the world’s population. For seven years, Thais and her family lived in a community of survivors deep in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. But when her town is attacked by raiders, she and her blind sister are taken away to the East-Central Territory where she is destined to live the cruel and unjust kind of life her late mother warned her about. Atticus Hunt is a troubled soldier in Lexington City who has spent the past seven years trying to conform to the vicious nature of men in a post-apocalyptic society. He knows that in order to survive, he must abandon his morals and his conscience and become like those he is surrounded by. But when he meets Thais, morals and conscience win out over conformity, and he risks his rank and his life to help her. They escape the city and set out together on a long and perilous journey to find safety in Shreveport, Louisiana. Struggling to survive in a world without electricity, food, shelter, and clean water, Atticus and Thais shed their fear of growing too close, and they fall hopelessly in love. But can love survive in such dark times, or is it fated to die with them?Get Your Copy Today:

REVIEW
Rating: 5 Groupie Stars
To those who know me, it is hard for me to give a five. I have reasonably hard time giving a 5. However this book deserves it. It is not often these days to get a 3 out of me. However "Everything under the Sun" by Jessica Redmerski is one of the few books that I have read that deserves a 5. It is a well written and thought provoking book. This is the story of Thais and Atticus, Two young people swept up into a new future not of their choosing. When the fever hits Thais and her sister are eventually left alone by their parents. It is a horrible event but just a taste of what is to come. This book is not for the faint of heart. It is a painful, soul searching and truth revealing story. Thais and Atticus, who are the main characters, are brought together under horrible conditions, Yet somehow Thais wins Atticus's heart. The two of them take a journey fraught with peril and self realization as to who they are and the part they have to play in this new future of human society destroyed by sickness not just sickness of the body but of the heart and soul. This brings out the worst of a person, revealing the true nature of their souls. Thais and Atticus are shown momentary bits of peace and happiness, then reality steps in and reminds them that they are living in a dangerous, perception led world.Do not read this book if you are squeamish, there is a lot of violence and disregard for human life. T in the heartw and minds of nehis book will open your eyes to the evil that lurks in the heart, soul and mind of men.I will admit that this book tugged at the old heart strings. I actually cried at the end of this story. I have to say I will probably have to buy the second story in this series because I want to know if Thais and Atticus live into their now legendary adventure and are able to make a difference in the society that they are now a part of. I will be getting the 2 book because I need to know how the story ends.
Thanks for participating in my tour! :-)
