REVIEW
Rating: 5 Groupie Stars
Celia Aaron is a master at spinning tales. I voraciously devoured this intriguing story of vampires and immortals, demons and gods with a smattering of supernatural and oh yeah, a dragon.   A while back I took a chance on Incubus, which while drastically different than the dark world that Ms. Aaron creates, was a fantastic read. Knowing Blood Prince would be based on a similar premise I took the leap of faith. I was not disappointed.

The stories that Ms. Aaron writes are always well plotted, descriptive and addictive.  Incorporation of the mythological and fantastical creates yet another version of Helen of Troy and quite honestly, it's brilliant.

Featuring a few brief flashbacks to ancient times to set the premise, most of the novel takes place in the Underworld. While somewhat grim the story still takes you on a journey of true love. The twists and turns are detailed and I believe that spills them would be a disservice to the story.  Just know that once I started it was difficult to set down.

If you love mythology, vampires, or just a well written, interesting story, perfect for a rainy day snuggled under a blanket, this one is for you.

Celia Aaron is a USA Today bestselling author and recovering attorney who loves romance and erotic fiction. Dark to light, angsty to funny, real to fantasy--if it's hot and strikes her fancy, she writes it. Thanks for reading.
