If you're looking for spoilers I would recommend that you look somewhere else because you aren't going to get them here. That being said? I can't talk much about the storyline because with the amount of twists and turns that Amo Jones works into her novels...any hint could lead to a spoiler.

The story of Aeron "Manik" Romanov-Reed and Beatrice "Beat" Kennedy is a typical A. Jones novel. Crazy twisted, a little f'd up but steamy...and let's not forget addictive. I need to be careful about when I start a Jones novel because I couldn't put it down. That means my lunch hour at work was NOT a good idea.

If you are familiar with Jones' stories you know she writes a kickass female lead. Strong and smart, Beat doesn't let us down. And my favorite part of a Jones novel is that smart strong woman has the ability to bring a dangerous, twisted beyond belief, dominating alpha to his knees. (<< I love any author that can do this creatively but Amo always seems to take the twisted a bit further making it all the more intriguing and awesome!)

To live vicariously through Jones' crazy characters and twisted plot lines is a wonderful way to give my boring life the zing it needs. The story of Beat and Manik was a satisfying read. (and a great playlist too if you listen to the chapter titles!) You never know what to expect and are left guessing to the very end.

This is a standalone novel so, if you are looking for a peek into the twisted world of Amo Jones this would be a great novel to cut your teeth on.
