Written with You is the conclusion to the Regret Duet by Aly Martinez. Book 2 is just as intricate and addictive as book one. As I've said before, Aly Martinez has a way with words. She has the ability to twist your guts and make you feel joy depending on the feelings of the character you are reading about. After book 1, I believe I said, prepare yourself for a doozie in anticipation of book 2. Dude, I was right. So, so right...but holy moly was I not expecting THAT.

Being book two it is difficult to review without spoilers for the first book, so just trust in the fact you will be hooked in book 1 and book 2 is the icing and sprinkles on the cake.

I was craving book 2 from the second I read the last word in book 1 and the conclusion to the story did not disappoint. Once I started chapter 1 I didn't put it down. The twists and turns, the turmoil and forgiveness, all make for a wonderful duet worthy of your time.

Every little girl dreams of the fairytale. The one where the white knight rushes in to save her from the clutches of evil. They fall in love, have babies, and live happily ever after.

By that definition, my life should have been a fairytale too.

When I was eight years old, Caven Hunt saved me from the worst kind of evil to walk the Earth. It didn’t matter that I was a kid. I fell in love with him all the same.

But that was where my fairytale ended.
