This is a stand alone in the same world of the Back Up series! This follows Lori and her journey to her happy ever after. We met Lori in book one of the Back Up series and she has been a big part of the series so we know she was with someone else before. Now she is back with her; real happily ever after.
Cannon Davis is a new up and coming rock star and Lori is his agent. These two know that mixing business and pleasure is not a good idea but they can only ignore the sparks for so long!
Cannon is younger than Lori but he has a beautiful soul and is sure of his feelings for her. Lori is jaded by her past and know that a relationship with Cannon could interfere with her job and dreams.
I loved these two together!! There were times I wanted to shake Lori but that’s par for the course as I had many of those moments in the original Back Up series books as well. Never the less these two were fire and I loved the story about them!!
I only hope that we get another book for Trey. I also want more from all the couples in this world!! I want to know what all their lives look like in a couple years!!
100% recommend for lovers of the Back Up series and lovers of a good rock star romance!
