When reading the blurb of this book I thought all my gosh it's going to be such a heartbreaking story but Lani Lynn Vale has a way of writing things that are more light hearted and I sat back enjoyed the story. They didn't let their illness or tragic accidents define them. It strengthen them and actually brought them closer. Together they fixed each other quite literally he gave her a kidney. But they were attached in many ways before they even met. They had a whirlwind romance but that wasn't surprising after everything they went through together. In this author's true fashion we have a scary scary few chapters where we're not sure the couple are gonna make it or even live because of what was going on. But because she never lets us down in a romance we have the wonderful heart warming ending that brought a bit of a tear to my eye I just love this about her stories. Her books are always fast pace easy to read and I gobble them up. Always so much story packed between those covers I can't wait for the next one.
Lani Lynn Vale is a Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author of over thirty titles. She is married with three children, two dogs, two cats, a donkey, and a couple (a couple meaning over twenty) chickens. She hails from the Great State of Texas.
When she's not writing, you can find her curled up in her favorite chair reading.
