Another great fantasy story from Hayley Faiman!! This is not her typical genre but she slid into it effortlessly. The imagery brought the story to life. I can picture the setting as a beautiful painting. The creatures and magical beings all feel real because you are lost in a story of a woman in a place and time she doesn't know. A world of demons, witches and dragons. Definitely different from her modern day New York. She doesn't "belong" there but a warrior makes her his and a love story blooms. Not a hearts and flowers love story, it gets dark and ugly. 
But this author never disappoints so we get lots of steam, action and a HEA.
Plus the bonus of an interesting little short story at the end.
I cannot wait for the next one! We have 2 more sisters to go!

Two people must find trust and love in one another. Two people must fight the demons in front of them and inside of them. Sacrifices must be made. Families could be torn apart. Without one, the other cannot succeed, the lands will perish, the world could end.
