The Mighty Anchor is the third and final book in the Rogue Academy series. The story of Vance and Lara is yet another well crafted and engaging book set in the European football world.
Lara comes across as a strong female lead, however she did make some mistakes along the way, especially keeping a major secret from everyone she knew. Vance is introverted. Social anxiety is a serious issue for him, even damaging his relationship with Lara.
This second chance romance allows us to see Vance and Lara try to rekindle their relationship while adding in thepressure of becoming a parent with societal pressure.
The Mighty Anchor was a fairly fast paced read. Although this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. I enjoyed this series and i can't wait to see what Ms. Aarons comes up with next.
