It's no surprise how much I love both of these authors books but this book is by far my favourite book by them. It was steamy, sexy, emotional and heart breaking, it was also very original so what's not to love about it.
i really enjoyed watching Luca and Griffins relationship develop throughout the story. Luca is the American girl was just plain lovely and had so many amazing qualities who also has some hard issues to deal with and Griffin is the British boy who was full on sexy and fun.
They start up their friendship through a very unconventional way of exchanging letters weekly throughout high school. They create a very strong bond until a letter goes unanswered . This unanswered letter creates 8 years of pent up anger for Griffin.
Luca didn't stop writing to him because she didn't like him but because of a bigger reason. Part of her survivors guilt means she won't let herself be comforted by anyone esp Griffins friendship.
This story was so powerful. I loved the unconventional ness of it. It's a very long and bumpy road for them both individually and as a couple. They start as pen pals and end as soul mates.
Best book by the duo.
