This is my first book by N Kuhn and it will not be my last. I really enjoyed this book. It's shorter but you still get a good story and it's a book that you can sit down and read in one sitting. I've kinda been on a Romance/Suspense kick lately and this book fits right in there!! Mitch and Kellie are torn apart because of a misunderstanding, however they still have feelings for each other and were heartbroken when things ended. Kellie is now a kick ass Bounty Hunter. But when things go wrong and she needs help who else does she have to turn to other than MITCH!! I loved him, he was so swoon worthy. Can they find their way back to each or will time and distance and the past be too much of an obstacle?
If you looking for a quick fun read with a great romance, action, and twist and turns then this book is for you!! Happy one-clicking!!
N Kuhn grew up in a small town in Western New York. Having spent her afternoons outside or with a book, she grew up with a love of reading and writing. Her mother and grandmother fully encouraged this in her. Many years later, after a husband and children, she made a promise to her dying grandmother to fulfill her dream of being an author. Her grandmother lived to see N's name in print. This was a turning moment for her. Driven by ambition and a promise made, she has since published several titles including the Mohawk Trilogy, Tucked In, Buffalo Rocker and the Tricks series.
N Kuhn has several other books that will be out later this year. When she's not writing, she is in college for a Business degree, runs her blog, bartends and promotes for other authors. Family and coffee are her two staples in life.
“We need to get out of these woods,” she says to me. Her breathing is hard, and I’m entranced by the sight of her chest heaving. What I wouldn’t give to run my fingers over her nipples, watching her shudder as she falls apart at my touch.
“Snap out of it Mitch, what are we going to do?” I slip the map out of my pocket, trying to gauge where we are.
“Okay, it looks like we’re around here. We can follow the creek to here,” I point out. “It’s about a two mile hike, uphill. Then when we reach this rock formation, we can go around it, and start heading north. The park ranger fire tower is only a few miles from there.”
“Let’s go then,” she says.
“You do realize we can’t hike when it’s dark right? It’s going to be dark in about two hours. I say we head out and camp at the rock formation.”
“Are you kidding me?” she says, her voice getting louder. “You know what kind of animals are in here? We don’t even have my tents anymore! They were on my horse, that are now lost somewhere out here.”
“There should be some caves in this formation. People are always coming out here to climb through them. We’ll be fine. I’ll take first watch so you can sleep and then you can take the second. We’ll be fine.” I had grabbed one of the sleeping bags from the camp, just in case we needed it. Now it’s looking like a great idea. We’re definitely going to need it.
