Synopsis:

Fade In is a contemporary-romance novel about laughing through your tears and telling life to, quite frankly, “Suck it.” This novel contains sexual situations that the author may or may not have tried at home… for your safety, of course. Research is research.

Fade In is the wonderfully romantic, heartbreaking story of Tatum and Ben. Tatum is losing her sight. She is a very independent person and does not want to ask for help. She is afraid of life without her sight. She is writer, lives on her own, and does not want to depend on anyone else. Her doctor tells her she needs to start simplifying her life. So, she hires a personal assistant, Ben, and her life starts to change.
The attraction is instantaneous between Tatum and Ben. Tatum is not sure that it is a good idea to make anything of their flirting since he is her personal assistant. Ben wants Tatum just as much as she wants him, but there is more to Ben than Tatum realizes.
I loved this story. It had a unique storyline. It made me cry, laugh, and then cry again. Tatum is a strong, independent woman that you can look up to. It is easy to feel for her and understand what she is going through. Ben is a kind-hearted man who wants to help Tatum. He is sweet, romantic, and strong, exactly what Tatum needs.
The book is written in Tatum's POV, except for the prologue and epilogue which are in Ben' POV. This book is very well written. I loved the unique storyline and the way it all unfolds.
This is a great book. If you are looking for a romantic story with hot scenes, lots of laughs, and some tears, you will love Fade In. I cannot wait to read more from M. Mabie. This is definitely a 5-star read!!
