I love him, from the instant I set eyes on him when I was just 11 years old I have loved him and nothing will ever change that, he owns me, he owns my heart and he owns my body and no matter how many lies are told, no matter how many people conspire to keep us apart, despite the fame and the distance, we will find a way.

“Georgia Rae, when we made love you used to cry”… He waits for me to sing my bit. I try to swallow down a sob but I just end up singing through it…

“I said I love you like the stars above, I’ll love you till I die”

Carnage, an edgy coming of age love story that breaks all the rules and transcends the decades. Georgia and Sean's story will stay with you long after you read the final word.

An emotional, smoking hot, gut wrenching read.

REVIEW:

What can I say about "Carnage" by Lesley Jones.  It is a very angst ridden love story.  Meet Sean and Georgia the two main characters in the story. They meet when they are both still very young and knew at once they were made for each other.

"I was eleven years old, but I knew without a shadow of a doubt I was staring into the eyes of the boy I was going to love forever, they were big and brown eyes and locked onto mine..."

This is where Georgia is first introduced to Sean and from that moment on they are almost inseparable. We follow the two as they grow together as a couple and as the band that Sean and Georgia's brothers have formed aptly named "Carnage"

Everything seems to be going well, the band has found a promoter and gaining in popularity and Georgia and Sean's love is growing stronger by the day despite their age difference and her parents reluctance because of their age difference.

However like all good love stories there is always a glitch always something that happens that pulls the two apart. In this love story drugs, rock and roll and  a jealous groupie work together to tear these two apart. Sean and Georgia are no exception to this rule. It would seem that a one woman wrecking ball has her eyes set on Sean and she becomes a reoccurring problem in their lives. " Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" and this one is a really bad one. She manages to break up Sean and Georgia, using drugs and pictures she sets Sean up and the resulting heartbreak is more than Georgia can bear and she walls up her heart for a very long time. Of course along comes another to bring her back to life after a very long dry spell Georgia finally decides to live again. Not that she has holed herself up completely, life without Sean has gone on and she is quite the successful little entrepreneur.
It is after Georgia meets Cam that she comes back to life and decides to love again despite the fact that her heart and love will always belong to Sean and she tells Cam this and he is accepting of it to a point. However even this love is not strong enough to win her from Sean. Then there is a huge argument and after running from Cam, Georgia goes to see her brother and She and Sean are reunited. Their love story does not end here so read "Carnage" by Lesley Jones and feel the love and heartbreak that these two experience and relive the feeling of a love that will last forever!

I am a born and raised Essex girl now living on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, just outside of Melbourne Australia, I moved here with my husband and three sons in 2006.

Not only do I love to write but I also love to read and can devour a book overnight if the story grabs me.

I love watching my sons play football and am very partial to a glass of wine, a nicely chilled Marlborough Sav Blanc being my favourite.
