His name was Joshua Carter. Now it's whatever she wants it to be.
She is a Deliverer.
She lures young men and delivers them to be sold. She delivers the strikes that enforce their obedience. She delivers the sexual training that determines their purchase price.
As long as she delivers, the arrangement that protects her family will hold.
Delivering is all she knows.

Review:
This book was just plain AWESOME! I was so enthralled with it that it was so hard for me to put it down!
This book really took me into a world that is just not the type of life I live and sure as heck never would either! This book had such strong characters and it was so heart pounding and different and it just made it so hard to put down, especially when you got to like 66% into the book, it just had some major turn of events and damn.....I did not put this book down until I finished it.
Liv was a deliverer, she is the dominant one that you have to obey. She was a broken soul who fought and did what she had to do in order to survive. She was given the task as a deliverer. She captured and tortured young men and women, mostly who came from broken homes, she followed orders and commands from the mysterious Mr. E. Her story was very tragic, but she was inclined to uplift herself and just do what she is asked to do.
She had her innocence stolen and followed the rules of monsters. Somewhere along the way, she’d become one.
Josh Carter stopped to help a woman in distress and ended up getting more than what he bargained for. He was kidnapped, chained, tortured and locked away. Josh was beaten, starved and sexually abused, but yet, he kept faith and hope that he would get out alive and would survive. He was a beautiful man, 6'2 and around 200 lbs. of nothing but muscles and sexual innocence that had the requirements that the client was asking for.
Josh found his own conquest, he was determined to get his captor to break, he once again gets more than he bargained for.
Liv knows she is failing miserably with her slave. She has trained and delivered slaves but she just can’t seem to break Mr. Carter. Liv has to deliver this captive because she's got a a lot riding on this particular delivery. She can’t allow to attache herself and screw this delivery.
Live has never been in this situation before but she knows that she has to complete this transaction. She knows she's fallen for her slave. But she knows she can't act on her emotions and break because she's got to much riding on this particular delivery. She's never really had a choice when it came to deliver her slaves, but this particular one killed her to have to turn him in, she'd rather die than hurt him and she does everything in her power to try and not get him hurt on this delivery.
And then there was Van, who was a bit odd but really had my attention. Van and Liv are a team and they go out scouting and capture and train slaves. Van was obsessed with Liv, but just as much as he loved her, he also mistreated her and would beat her. Liv felt like she loved him, but she also hated him with all her heart.
I highly enjoyed Deliver from page 1 to the end and can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
Van’s big body blocked her view, pressing in, violating her comfort zone. She raised her chin and searched the depths of his hood. Shadowed and vacant, his expression mirrored her presence of mind.
The back of his hand made a slow trace of her scar, brushing her hair from its path. When he reached her lips, he coiled several strands around his finger.
She grabbed his wrist, and the tendons in her grip turned to steel, immovable. She closed her eyes and braced.
He yanked, sparking a burn where the follicles gave way.
At the sound of his retreating footsteps, she opened her eyes and watched his broad back move toward the trees. “Someday, we’re going to talk about those fetishes of yours.”
Without acknowledgment, he continued in a slow, dispassionate stride until the shadows between the trees swallowed his silhouette.
