Rush Into You Synopsis:
I had it all.
I was captain of the cheerleading squad and star of the debate team.
I was smart and popular and living the dream.
Until that night.
That one fateful night changed everything.
Now everyone hates me—everyone.
They stay far away.
It’s safer.
Drugs numb the pain, and sex pays for the drugs.
Being alive is my punishment.
Then I meet him.
Ryker Rosse.
Tattoos, sinful body…and his eyes. His eyes are irresistible.
He is captivating. He treats me with respect.
He sees me.
Ryker brings happiness into my life of regret, but I don’t know if I deserve happiness.
Some mistakes can never be forgiven.
Or can they?

Rush Into You by Brianna Lee made me an emotionally mess, I had to constantly hold back my tears in some scenes because they were just so sad and intense. It's hard to even think clearly right now just thinking of all the parts in this book that had me in tears.
Loved how Brianna was very detailed in her book and her characters just felt so real, you can feel the emotions that the characters go through. This was a very well written book, it was an amazing story.
Gabby's story is so depressing starting right off the bat. Having to deal with what she did and having the whole town hate her for the people that she claimed their lives. Gabby just wanted to have a friend since she had none in the town. She meets Ryker at the local bar and even though no one talks to her and just snear at her, she ignores everyone and just goes about her business. Ryker got this pull towards her and even though he could see the sadness and pain in her eyes, he still wanted to get to know her. He just seems like perfect prince and he would turn out to be Gabby's prince, a very sexy, tattooed prince that is. He is this badass guy who rides motorcycles, he races illegally and is very popular. Even though he looks like a badass, he's actually the nicest, most sweetest and honest person you can run into.
Ryker doesn't seem to have a care in the world about Gabby's past and what she did or didn't do right. He seemed to have fallen in love with her and wants to be with her. He wants to help her and he wants to be there for her. Gabby feels like she doesn't deserve Ryker and she is afraid to open up to him about her past because she thinks he'll take off on her. The last thing she wants is to lose him since she loves him. But will he run if she tells him her sordid past?
There were times I wanted to to scream at Gabby because I wanted her to open up to Ryker and tell him about what happened to her that has her this way but she just wouldn't budge. She would rather lose him than tell him the truth. He told her he was there to stay and he wouldn't run even after she told him her history and she just wouldn't. So Ryker decides to give her space and leaves so she can think about what she wants, he wants to make her happy because he knows she's a great person deep down inside. I fell in love with this man because he had it all, looks, sex appeal and personality, what more can a girl ask for right!
When I first started reading this story and read what she was going through, the pain she was going through and the things she was doing really broke my heart. Drugs do tend to rule lives and in Gabby's case, that's exactly what happened. She turned to drugs because she needed something to numb her pain and even though that's not the route to go, sometimes you just don't have a choice. I'm just glad that she finally had the courage to speak up and tell Ryker what happened to her and why everyone hated her in her hometown. Even though happiness didn't come easy for her, she did deserve her happily ever after.
I have to give Brianna props because this was her debut novel and she did an amazing job with this book. I can't wait to read the next one in the series. I definitely want to continue reading books from this author. She really knows how to show emotion in her writing and I love reading books like these.
I give this one 4.5 stars and I definitely recommend this to NA readers. This books has some certain scenes that might be bothersome to some people, this books has many emotions, you will feel anger, sadness and happiness. It did have some really steamy and hot scenes that had me panting.
I received a gifted copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
