4.5 Groupie Stars
I am such a fan of this author and series. I loved gettig into both War and Shanias heads. They are both very complex and getting to know their thoughts helped to be able to connect with their characters more. Both are damaged and broken, in two total different ways. Events and issues from their past are greatly affecting their futures and the people they have become today. Neither are living to their full potentials and are both putting up walls to allow those in their lives really see who they are, that is until they meet each other. They are both great for each other. They are both broken and help to make each other whole. The is an instant attraction but their emotional connection is what really drew me in. There are many obstacles in their way of finding a future together. Many times I thought what are you doing and wanting to shake some sense into both of them. They are not only dealing with their issues together but both are needi to and trying to repair other relationships in their loves. Can they help each become whole and find their happily ever after?
This is one book I could not put down. I can't wait for more in this series. I need Duffys book!!! If you love a book about redemption and two broken people finding love in the least obvious place, then you will love Captiving Bridge!!!
