Behind His Eyes Convicted The Missing Years by Aleatha Romig

This review will again be short and sweet. For some reason, Aleatha's books are always so hard to review because it seems everything ties into something else and I am afraid to give away spoilers. It just goes to show what an intricate story Aleatha weaves. Ahhhh we have come to the conclusion (or is it????) of the Consequences series. In the final book we get the story from all the main guy's sides: Harry, John, Phil, and of course Tony!

While I have absolutely loved this series, The Missing Years, is the first of the Behind His Eyes books that I have read. It was definitely a different way to hear the story seeing it through the main males eyes. While I absolutely love the story and series, for me, reading about it in the various men's point of views just seemed a bit repetitive. I am one of those readers that never re-read a story so this sort of made me feel like I was doing just that. That is just my thing though. The writing was just as impeccable as ever from the amazing Ms. Romig.

I must say that I did shed quite a few tears during this story. Not so much for the content but because I felt like I was losing a part of my family. I have become that attached to the characters in this series and will feel a sense of deep loss without them coming back for a visit. It was tied up very nicely and I adored the epilogue and it did make me shed even more tears, but happy ones at least. I sincerely hope Aleatha will consider doing a couple of novellas to let us find out what happens to some of our favorite characters in the future. For those that have not read this series, please do yourself a favor and pick it up.
