Review for Wanted by J Kenner

Title: Wanted
Series: Most Wanted #1
Author: J. Kenner
Rating: 4 Groupie Stars

He is everything I crave, all I desperately want—and he is everything I can’t have.

Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets.
My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan’s dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can’t fight.
And from the moment we touch—the passion between us consuming us both—I know that I will never be the same.

Where oh where do start?!  From the first page you could feel the chemistry and heat between Evan and Angie.  I definitely was eagerly waiting for the ignited fire to turn into a full blown inferno and boy I was I not disappointed!!  The connection between Evan and Angie is real and palpable.

Angie is suffering through another devastating loss when her favorite uncle, Jahn dies.  She hasn't made her life easy on herself and strives to be a person that she thinks everyone else wants her to be.  She restrains her inner self and hides her true thoughts and feelings.  But there is one person who can see through her facade, someone who knows and understands her true self.  But he is not someone that is attainable, or one that she can have..or can she?

Evan Black…sigh..where do I start with this hot manly stud?!  Mr.Alpha Male, all business and no pleasure….well that might be a lie!  He has very strong feelings for Angie, but because of a promise he made to her uncle, he refuses to act on them.  He puts all his feelings aside and tries to seem aloof when Angie is near.
But holy hotness when they finally act on their feelings!!!!  Evan is a master in the bedroom and has no problems showing his dominate side with Angie.  But when lust becomes more like love and outside factors start creating problems, will Angie and Evan come out on top or be pulled apart??

J. Kenner spent more than ten years as a litigator in Southern California and Central Texas, using her rare free time to indulge her passion for writing. California born, she now lives—and writes—in Texas, with her husband and daughters.
