Forgiving Lies Synopsis:
A matter of secrets...

Undercover cop Logan "Kash" Ryan can't afford a distraction like his new neighbor Rachel Masters, even if she's the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. To catch a serial killer, he needs to stay focused, yet all he can think about is the feisty, long-legged coed whose guarded nature intrigues him

A matter of lies...
Deceived and hurt before, Rachel would rather be a single, crazy cat lady than trust another guy, especially a gorgeous, tattooed bad boy with a Harley, like Kash. But when his liquid-steel eyes meet hers, it takes all of Rachel's will-power to stop herself from exploring his hot body with her own.

A matter of love...
As much as they try to keep it platonic, the friction between them sparks an irresistible heat that soon consumes them. Can Kash keep Rachel's heart and her life safe even as he risks his own? Will she be able to forgive his lies ... or will she run when she discovers the dangerous truth?

"But those were forgiving lies."

This book had me in a hangover for a bit!  I have to admit I wasn't sure I was going to like at first.  In the beginning it kind of dragged and I was like, ok, this has to get better, it's freaking Molly McAdams here.  Oh boy, did it ever get CRAZY!!!

"But I had never stood a chance against Kash.  From the minute he almost took my car door off, he had taken my heart and kept a firm hold."

Rachel moved to Texas for a new start when her parents suddenly died.  With the help of her best friend Candice, she was getting through college life and actually enjoying it.  It would certainly help if Blake, Candice cousin would settle down and stop seeing all those women, and see that she was in love with him.  After awhile Rachel starts noticing things about Blake that she doesn't exactly like but when her best friend finally talks her into going on date with him, it might be her worst mistake and her best friend doesn't believe her.  When she mets hot, tattooed Kash she plays the bitch card in hopes of scaring him off.  She doesn't want or need to start having feelings for a guy, but love has a funny way of coming when you least expect it.

"I needed her to stay away from me, but damn if I wasn't grinning like an idiot knowing that Rachel was falling for me just as hard as I was falling for her."

Kash is an up and coming undercover cop who comes to Texas for two things, to find the Carnation Killer and to redeem his name.  The last he needs or wants is some girl to attach to his heart and muddle things up.  But when he meets Rachel he can see right through her shields and is determined to break through them even if he isn't exactly being honest with her about who he is.  When Rachel's life seems to be in danger, will he fess up and tell her why he's really here or keep it a secret.

"He leaned close and whispered in my ear.  You need to know that you're special to me.  I meant every single word I sang to you tonight and I will never regret that kiss."

This book had me frantically turning Kindle pages from about a quarter until the end.  As a reader you could feel that something was about to happen and it was lurking about the corner, and sneaky Molly McAdams would keep you waiting and guessing until BAM, out of nowhere, guns blazing it hits you in the face!  Then the pages are being turned even faster to see where the hell this crazy situation is about to go!!  Another home run for Molly and I can't wait to delve into Deceiving Lies, because this one ends in a cliffhanger, so readers be aware!!  Thank God I already have Deceiving Lies or I might have to hurt someone!

"..I knew that Logan Kash Hen-Ryan would always have my heart."

Molly McAdams grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry daughter. Her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling and long walks on the beach, which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. When she's not at work, she can be found hiding out in her bedroom surrounded by her laptop, cell, Kindle and fighting over the TV remote. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm...or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.
