Synopsis:

Warning: This is not a virtuous and tender love story. It’s chaotic, ruthless, and tragic. This story takes love and kills its innocence, steals away the pure moments, and crushes the hearts of the broken. A story born in childhood, tying one girl to one boy, leads to a destructive path—that hurts more than it doesn’t, that shatters more than it heals—testing the love that binds the two through a lifetime.

Tegen Matthews is the daughter of Dorothy Kelley, a club whore in the Hell’s Horsemen. A plain little girl, Tegen falls into the gritty world of the motorcycle club. When she meets a sweet, caring boy, she embraces the warmth and affection he shows her. Cage West is the son of the president of the Hell’s Horsemen. Tall and blond with deep brown eyes, as he grows up Cage realizes the power of his dimpled smile and smooth drawl. With one chance encounter, Tegen becomes forever tied to Cage. Following is a wayward journey that is filled with regrets, mistakes, and heartache, pulling at the threads that hold them together. Cage and Tegen fight hard but love harder, and in the end, what matters is where the journey takes one girl and one boy, who have been twined with one another since the beginning.

This is Tegen and Cage’s story.

Love doesn’t erase a broken heart, and it sure doesn’t change people. But no matter how old, how flimsy, how frayed the rope of love is, it keeps you tethered to the people you love.

REVIEW:

Ok, so I'm not even sure where to start with this Uh-mazing book!!! Sheehan has floored me again with her talent!! 5 stars for this book!! This is the third book in her Undeniable series and they just keep getting better and better! The story of Cage and Tegen! Tegen is the daughter of one of the "club" whores and has been in love with Cage for as long as she can remember. Cage is the son of the leader of the club, Hell's Horsemen and thinks that women are nothing but a dime a dozen and never stays with one longer than he can "get off." After the events of one night change Tegen's views on Cage, she makes it her goal in life to be the biggest bitch to him and to run as far as she can from the club. When she graduates from high school Tegen moves to college and vows to never have anything to do with Cage or the Hell's Horsemen again. Alas, it is always easier said then done. The story follows both Cage and Tegen through several years apart from each other and random hostile encounters. Cage is uncertain about why the change in Tegen but is too busy trying to live up to his father's expectations and find that "certain" something that he as been missing for the past few years (Duh, Cage!!) Once the two are thrown together, the banked fire ignites and neither one can deny what is between them any longer. Thankfully, Cage gets over some of his douchieness and tried to make up for his past with Tegen, but is it enough for Tegen to drop all her walls and let him in again?

"Love doesn’t erase a broken heart, and it sure doesn’t change people. But no matter how old, how flimsy, how frayed the rope of love is, it keeps you tethered to the people you love."

Madeline Sheehan was so effective in messing with my head and had me loving Cage and Tegen more than Eva and Duece or Ripper and Danny, impossible, you say!! But true!! This book was raw, dark, and gut wrenching!! The angst, personal hate, and self destruction that Tegen puts herself through to try and get over Cage pulls at your heart strings and while I want to hate, really hate Cage, I just can't!! He is a douchebag in every sense of the word and treats women like they are nothing but the next lay, but you just can't help loving him!! He is always trying to show his father that he isn't a little kid anymore and can handle big "jobs" and not mess them up and he of course is that alpha male that is always trying to rein in Tegen and show her who's boss(guess who wins "most" of the time). Through it all you still see glimpses of Eva and Duece and Danny and Ripper and of course the most loved of Hell's Horsemen, ZZ!! I was not able to put this book down and read it a few hours! Thank god for weekends!!! I am impatiently awaiting ZZ's story and still more than slightly hungover from Cage and Tegen's! A must read for everyone!!
