Blog Tour for Stealing Ryder by V. Murphy

“I will pick up the pieces of your past and steal your heart forever, Ryder."

She stole his heart in Sharing Harper but will he be able to change his bad boy ways and do everything he can to prevent his ex and his family from destroying their relationship before it even begins?

Ryder Kent, 28, comes from a broken past full of secrets, suffering and a shattered marriage. His daughter, Evelyn, is his entire life until he met Harper, 21, a few months ago and everything changed. Harper is the reason he wakes up in the morning, but no one can seemingly accept this from his past. The pain he suffered years ago comes back to surface and Harper will have to work to save their relationship from ending.

Will Harper & Ryder be able to save their relationship and overcome the challenges they face or will they end up broken in the shadows of the past?

Follow Harper & Ryder on their continued journey in Stealing Ryder.

Can two people with damaged pasts and lots of baggage, find happiness together or will there pasts come between them and force them apart?

This book put my heart and emotions through the ringer!!! I loved the first book, Sharing Harper, and was so happy that Ryder and Harper found each other. That book ended in what I thought was a happily ever after, but nothing is ever that easy. This leads us to Stealing Ryder. In this book there are even more obstacles in the way of Ryder and Harper's happily ever after.

We start off a few months after the first book ended. Everything is going great and Ryder and Harper are happy together. And then there is Kylle, Ryder's ex ( I love to hate her, but she definitely grew on me in this book). She wants Ryder, Evelyn, and herself to be a family again.

Both Ryder and Kylee are invited to an old friend's wedding in Texas. However, Ryder does not get a plus-one! Ryder and Kyee together in Texas without Harper that spells TROUBLE! Ryder makes so many mistakes while in Texas ( Note: there is no cheating ), and there were so many times I wanted to smack him and say what were you thinking. But he is honest and admits he made bad decisions. Harper also makes mistakes and needs to learn how to open up and trust Ryder and not to run away as soon as things get tough.

One thing that is not lacking from their relationship is sexual chemistry. They have some very interesting and fun sex-capades. There is whipped cream and handcuffs involved at one point and even some more outdoor sex

Both Ryder and Harper grow a lot in this book and learn that you need to face your past before you can move onto your future. I really believe they are perfect matches for each other. Both broken but together they are whole. They can help each move on and put their pieces back together.

Again as we are getting close to the ending, and I'm thinking Ryder and Harper are finally are going to overcome their past and be able to move on to their futures and then......
.......that epilogue!!!!!!  Can't they just catch a break??? I'm pretty sure the author is going to make me emotionally explode! Plus, we get another book and more Ryder and Harper. Negative, I'm scared of what might happen and not sure if my heart is going to be able to take it. This is a series I would recommend, and will keep reading until Ryder and Harper FINALLY get there HEA!

Hi! I am V. Murphy and I love everything about reading (some may call me a bibliophile). I am a current graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and heading out west to live the California dream while pursuing my masters degree in school counseling at the University of San Diego. You can find me writing in a Panera, small coffeeshop or on campus. When I am not spending my time in school or reading, I love to write, bake and shop. Thank you for taking your time to pick up and read my story. I hope you loved it as much as I have loved writing it for you. If you would like to know more about me and the books in progress, look me up on the ‘net.
