I was lucky enough to get to beta read this book. I couldn't wait until I was sent the next installment. You get pulled into Lex's story and need to know what will happen next, what happened to her in the past, and will she finally find true love. This is definitely a controversial book, but it is one that should be read. It is nothing like I have ever read and opened my eyes to new situations and issues that others may be dealing with. I felt a wide range of emotions while reading the story one minute I was crying and the next I had a huge smile on my face and then I was screaming at my kindle.
You easily connect to the main character Lex and fall in love with her. I am so #TeamGage. He is hot, sexy, intelligent, romantic, and devoted. I also fell for all of the side characters and can't wait to see where their stories go. Especially Lincoln, he is one of Lex's closest friends and is protective of her and helped to save her from her past. I can't wait to learn his story.
This is a must read and is one of my top reads of the year so far. If you are open-minded and are looking for a book like nothing you have read then one-click next now. I highly recommend this book and this author (<3 you SK).

WOW!! Just wow! I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book. I had heard whispers about this book but had no idea what I was in for! This book BLEW me AWAY!! The unconventional story line and amazing characters had me turning the pages well into the night.
Lex had a horrible childhood and even worse adult life but is able to still see the good in people, yet holds back letting in love. Can one man break through the wall that Lex has built? Does Lex dare share her secrets?
READ this book! It is not for the faint of heart or closed minded people. By not reading this book you will be missing out on seeing what true love can really do and how far people will go to possess it their life.
